*Gone*{Short Story}

After a boring algebra lesson,I went to my locker. Amanda had walked up to me waiting for me so that she could leave. Carter had football practice so
I was going to her house. We left the school and started walking. My mind was saying someone was following or someone was looking at us but I
ignored it. A huge mistake!

Raymond and Nick were waking a few feet behind Amanda and Lucy. They then ran up on them and took them in a alley. Amanda and Lucy couldn't scream because Raymond and Nick were covering their mouths. Nick pushed Lucy down to the ground and Raymond held Amanda and her mouth.

At first I thought they were just joking but then Nick did the unbelievable!

Nick pulled the gun out of his back pocket and pointed it at Lucy. Lucy just stared at the gun. You know...after all those years me and Raymond liked you and you pick that no good Carter! What is wrong with you! Are you that stupid!? Nick said. Look...it's not my fault that--- Lucy began to say but was cut off by Nick's yelling. SHUT UP! Nick said and walked closer to Lucy with the gun still in her face. Lucy was quiet as tears started to flow down her face. Please! Lucy asked begging on her knees. This is what me and Raymond here felt all these years. But you never noticed how much you were hurting someone! You didn't! Nick said. And I'm sorry! Lucy sobbed.

Maddie,Bethany and Alison ran up to Carter scared. They have her! Maddie said. What? Carter asked confused. They have Lucy and Amanda! Alison said. Who?? Carter asked more aware. Raymond and Nick! Bethany said scared. Carter took off all his clothes for football and ran out the locker room with his phone. Alison,Maddie,and Bethany smiled at each other and ran behind Carter. SANTIAGO! Coach Ricks yelled. Carter ignored him and kept running.

Years now! I HATE you! Nick yelled in Lucy's face. Amanda had tears flowing down her face as Raymond was still holding her and covering her mouth. You done mean that! Lucy said with tears forming in her eyes. Oh yes I do! I have hated you ever since you rejected me and Raymond and I hate Carter! I HATE YOU BOTH! Nick yelled. And now,you will understand...how...much...I..
Hate you AND CARTER! Nick yelled walking slowly behind Lucy.

Carter,Maddie,Bethany,and Alison came running in the alley. I got hope because Carter was there but then Nick put the gun to my head and pre pulled the trigger so it only made the sound. I closed my eyes and Carter stopped in his tracks! This is when I knew I couldn't get out of this mess!

Please! Carter sobbed and begged. Please what? Nick said with a disgusted look. Let her go! I'm the one who asked her out! Is that what this is about! Carter said. Lucy had tears streaming down her face because she knew this was the end. What do YOU want me to do??!! Nick asked rubbing the gun around Lucy's head. She closed her eyes and cried. Shoot me! Carter said as a tear came down his face. What?! Nick asked angrily. Shoot me! Do it! Carter said. I'm not gonna shoot you! Nick said as he stopped rubbing the gun around. Why?! Carter asked confusingly and angrily. Because I want you to feel what me and Raymond and Maddie,Bethany,and Alison felt all these years you and Lucy were together! PAIN! HURT! DEPRESSION! REVENGE! I want you to feel all of that! And by me killing you...it's not gonna make you feel any of that! Lucy deserves this! You deserve pain and im gonna give it to you! Nick said as his hand wiggled around the trigger.
Ple-ea-se! Lucy sobbed in between her words. PLEASE! Carter said getting down on his knees with tears coming down his face.

And at that moment,my heart stopped as I felt everything go in slow motion! Everything stopped! EVERYTHING!

Nick pulled the trigger and Lucy fell down from her knees onto the ground.

NO!!!!! Carter yelled as he scurried to Lucy and placed her up on his knees. There was blood all over her!

Nick,Maddie,Bethany,and Alison ran down the street. Raymond stood there in shock for a second. He then let Amanda fall to the ground in tears and ran down the block behind his friends.

Stay with me! Stay with me!
Plea-ase! Carter cried. He then grabbed Lucy's bloody hand not caring. Lucy's eyes were barely opened but she was able to speak. Amanda dialed 911 on the ground crying.

Lucy grabbed Carter's face with her bloody hand. She was shaking. Tell my mom,Amanda,Logan...everyone that I love them. And just remember,I love you too! Lucy said with tears flowing down her face. I love you too! Carter said crying.
Amanda hung up the phone as the police and ambulance were on their way. SOMEBODY HELP!!! Carter yelled crying into Lucy's chest as her eyes closed.
