chapter 4: I'm Justin

The guy in the back that I couldn't see came out. "Im justin. Whats up?" I looked at him and was re- thinking everything. I looked at Kyle and Jacob and they were looking at Justin. "Guys we need to practice. You're losing control. And it's getting stronger. The more time where here the more deadly we are. Well you guys I know how to control it." They looked scared.

"Abrey... we can't do anything. Dad won't love us anymore. They won't let us come back."

"Jacob is right. No one will be ok with us. Were just dead now. Fuck. whats jay gonna say."

I just start walking.

"Guys stay away. It's my fault were here. I just... let me be alone." I run off. They are dead because of me. I hear a car turn behind me. I just fell to the ground crying. I Heard screaming behind me. Someone's arms around me. And I black out.

"You took her from the two guys there Justin. What the hell. We know nothing about her."

"Calm down. She isn't deadly."

"She could be you never know!"

"Shh she's waking up. Hey... you ok?"

I looked at him and I was too scared to even do anything.

"Where the hell is my brother and kyle."

"Woah calm down. It's ok we don't know. You got hurt. It's ok. Your safe. It's ok."

"It's not ok where is my brother!" They look at me like i'm crazy. That's when Justin's friend grabs my arms.

"Hey what that hell are you doing? Get off of me! Im serious." That was more fear than a statement. I sound scared in my voice. I know I shouldn't let it out, but a scream of pain. He was twisting my wrists and they were hurting like hell.

"Gabe i think you should let go of her."

"Hell no. she's going to kill all of us if she gets mad"

"Gabe she'll kill us if you don't! Lookup!"

"What the fuck is that!"

Cowards.
"Gabe i'm not asking you again. Let. her. Go."

Whoever he is i'm going to kill him. I don't care what power im using im just glad it's worked. He suddenly let go. I try to get up but i'm still weak. "Justin... help. Me please." i tried to talk louder but he just picks me up bridal style and runs out.

"Justin you can't take her! You're going to regret it!"

He brings me to his car and I just fall asleep.

When I wake up I see my brother and Kyle laying beside me. I'm so glad to see them. But we never sleep in our world. We have one day a year we sleep. That maybe why we all are sleeping. Lack of it. Ughh that's why I collapsed. I look on my phone. Something I thought wouldn't work. It was a text from jay.

Jay: hey... where the fuck are you. Your dad is losing control. He is freaking out!

Me: it's complicated... tell him i'm fine. And jacob is fine.

Jay: NO where the hell are you! You tell me now!

Me: I cant tell you. Just leave me alone.

Im kinda angry at jay right now. I have no idea why. But it just happens to be him. He is always there. But never there.

"Your awake. How are you?" Justin looked like he knew me for awhile.

"Im ok. Just figured out why were all sleeping."

"Really why?"

"You wouldn't understand"

"I know you have powers! What else cant I understand?"

"In out world we dont sleep. We sleep one day a year and were good."

"Your world?"

"The portal."

"Wait you came from a portal??"

"Yes. Thats why I have powers i can control."

"I like these little talks. Someone who is different."

"Whys that? Being different is horrible."

"Because I can talk to someone who doesn't know about this world."

"A kitchen sink to you is not a kitchen sink to me."

He smiles at me.

"Lets start over. Im Justin."

"Im Abrey."

"Nice to meet you Abrey."
