After months of training, Jake and only a few of the boys and girls that were chosen had been eligible for the military. They'd been learning about guns, Calvary, Behemoths, Iron Dragons, Tanks, how to navigate planes and so much more. It's time for the eligible ones to finally be able to wear the uniforms. All the boys and girls were put in one room to sit down and be called one by one to inform them about who was able to handle the training and who was not. When Jake was called to talk with Sergeant Chris, he was told that he is now officially part of the military. He had been waiting for this day for days, weeks, months! He takes his uniform and exits into a bus that'll take him to his unit. Jake would now be part of Unit 237.
June 6th, 1917
Jake would look down and off of the plane he would soon jump off of. It was a valley, huge mountains, quite windy and there was snow on one side of the valley and the other would be rocky for some reason. Anyways, Jake took his parachute and threw it on. He saluted the pilot and jumped off, turning his parachute on right as he jumped off. He'd looked around and see a bunch of infantry, pretty much everywhere. Enemies and allies, dead and alive, their all there. Jake would land and instantly unsheathe his gun, already having to shoot somebody and take cover. He'd look to his side and see a man throwing a grenade and getting shot, falling face first, another person would get hit dead on the neck with a mace, blood splattering everywhere. Jake would look around and would find a mace on the floor, he'd jump for the mace, grab it and get stabbed with a small dagger in the shoulder. He'd take his mace and hit the man right on the head, blood splattering all over Jakes face from the mans wounds on his head. Surprisingly enough, Jake is able to endure such pain from the pocket knife and just rip it off, feeling a big sting. Jake would hear a suspicious sound but cannot remember what sound it was. He'd look around for the sound and he'd see a mortar shell up in the air. "Shit.". The shell would quickly hit the ground. And before Jake could do anything about it, he'd be flung in he air, hearing a ringing sound as he hit the ground after that explosion. Jake had a broken rib, broken foot, and dislocated shoulder. He'd get up and limp his way to a pistol since all of his equipment had been broken after that explosion. He slowly got back to the battlefield. He saw a huge shadow on the ground, he looks up and sees a huge Behemoth coming his way, a plane rocketing to the ground, causing a big explosion, gun shot everywhere. There was nowhere for him to hide.
Jake would be right beside a cliff on the mountains and a person with a shovel whack him right in the face, surprisingly, Jake had the consciousness and the energy to hang in to the mountain as he was about to fall off. The man would get ready throw Jake off of the mountain but right as he was going to, an ally would shank the man holding Jake and kill him off. At this point of the battle, three behemoths would have already made it onto the battlefield and allied planes would be attacking the behemoth. The man that saved Jakes life would stare at Jake.
"Be careful out there next time lad, the names Andrew Rosewell, from the British Military."
"I'm Jake, part of the U.S Marine Corps."
They'd shake hands and get back to the battlefield.
