Nauseous.
You feel nauseous.
The very beating of your heart is earth-shattering.
Your brain is melting into stew, your nerves are numb and yet you feel.
Pain.
Everywhere.
All around, deafening shades of red, suffocating echoes of life.
You choke on your breath, your lungs are also.
Red.
Suffocating as you hear them.
The words.
Those words, flesh-tearing words."It was never you."
