-----Michelle-----

I walk in Monday morning with the biggest smile on my face. My cheeks have been aching all morning, and my throat hurts a little from all of the songs I have been humming and singing.

Today was the first day of our plan. Mickey was supposed to start "courting" me today. When I walked into my office, Valerie had the biggest grin I have ever seen come from her on display.

"Michelle, these are for you." She hands me a bouquet of purple and white lilies. I pull out the card and read:

I had a good time with you this weekend. We should do it again sometime. I missed us.

Just as I finished reading the card, Michael walks in. It seems as though he could read my mind, and knew exactly when I received his gift...... On second thought, I don't think I want him to read my mind. There are some very obscene things floating around in there right now. Especially staring at that 6'5 Adonis standing confidently in my office in that tailored black suit, with that crisp white shirt that seems to have been built around his body, those pristine black oxfords adorning his feet, and that purple silk tie that appears to match the flowers perfectly was certainly the icing on top.

Oh, snap! Am I drooling? Please tell me I'm not! Where's my phone?! I start to search all around my desk for it frantically.

"You okay babe? You looking for something? Anything I can help you-"

"No! I'm fine. I was just looking for my phone. I wanted to send a picture of the flowers to my mom. Thank you by the way. They are lovely." I couldn't help but stare into his eyes as I said this. I was getting lost in them. I must have been staring incredibly hard because I heard a throat clear. I ripped my gaze away from him to look at Val, who I completely forgot was in the room, to see her signaling me to step back. I look confused for a second, and when I turn back around, I notice how close Mike and I are. I leaned way over my desk, and I didn't even notice. I was so close to his face; I could smell what he had for breakfast, Mixed Berry smoothie by the way.

I cleared my throat and backed up a little bit.

"So, to what do I owe this pleasure?"

"Oh, no particular reason Sweets. I just wanted to come by and say hi. I was going to invite you to breakfast this morning, but I figured that might not be enough time apart for it to be creepy......so, how about brunch?"

I giggled at his nervous, little joke. Wait.....what? Did I giggle? I giggled?! I GIGGLED? I rarely giggle. Either it's a full-blown laugh, or it wasn't funny. What are you doing to me, Michael?!

"Uh, sure, I'm available..." I see Val shaking her head in the corner of the room and mouthing to me, "No, you aren't." I mouth a "yes," which starts a little battle between us. I totally forgot what started this. I look to my right and meet amused eyes looking back at me. It didn't dawn on me that he saw my face the whole time. We are not sneaky......at all.

I eyeball Val and mouth make time. I hear a deep chuckle coming from my side. I look over and see Mickey posted up in my chair!

"Well, you're pretty comfy pretty quickly."

"I didn't know how long that little fight was going to take place, so I found myself a better seat to watch the action."

-----Michael-----

I became very excited when I saw how hard Michelle was fighting with her assistant to make this "date" possible. I had really high hopes this "date" would become a date.
