Hole

Imagine you and Legolas getting stuck down a hole.  Enough said.

You were with the Fellowship. You were leaving a small forest that day, and everyone was packing.  You and Legolas decided to take a walk through the woods.  As you strolled hand in hand, you felt content.  He was your Prince Charming.
You walked for a while, and eventually you sat down next to a tree to rest.  You got a fire going, since it was really cold out, and Legolas sat leaning against a sturdy tree.  He closed his eyes and sighed.  He had not slept good in days.  You were throwing sticks into the fire and prodding at it to make it spark, and ultimately burn better.  When, all of a sudden, Legolas screamed.  You looked over to him and saw that the ground had given way to a massive pit.  He had fallen in.

     "Legolas!"  You cried.

Without hesitation or second thought you jumped in after him.  You didn't think at all about getting out.  The hole was about nine feet deep, and you had landed on your feet.  You were tall, so because you landed on your feet, you were fine, and uninjured.  But Legolas lied on the dirty ground on his side.  You rushed over to him.

"Leggy, love, are you ok?"  You said as you rolled him over.

"Yes, I'm fine, but my side really hurts."  He said.  "Here, let's get you settled upright."  You say.

You pull him over to the wall of the pit.  Overall, the pit is considerably large.  He sits against wall of the cave, and pulls off his quiver, and sets his bow on the ground.  You have your backpack on your back, and you remove it and set it down on the floor next to you.

"I'm glad I brought this."  You say.  You unpack a bedroll.

"Did you bring your bag?"  You ask.

"Yes, I did.  It was next to me when I was sitting by that tree, before the floor caved in and I fell.  It should be around here somewhere."  He replies.

You get up and look around for his bag.  You find it and bring it over to Legolas.

"Let's unpack, and see what we have to live with.  We may be down here for while."  You say as you unpack some clothes.

You root through your bag and find some Lembas bread.

"At least we have food."  You say.

Legolas pulls out some more Lembas from his bag.  You toss all the food you have into a pile.  You find a couple books in your bag, and set them aside.  Legolas digs out some clothes and puts them in a pile next to yours.  He finds his bedroll.

"We'll sleep together tonight, if it's ok with you.  We will need to stay warm, it will be cold in this hole tonight."  He says.

"That's perfectly fine with me!"  You say smiling.

After you unpack your bags, you lay out the bedrolls and sit down on them.

"Are you sure your side is ok?  You landed on it pretty hard."  You say.

"Yes, I am sure of it.  I am fine."  He says.

"What are we going to do down here?  We'll probably die of boredom."  You say.

"Well, we can do whatever we couldn't do in front of everyone else?"  He says with a smirk.

     "Like what?"  You ask.

"Like this."  He says as he leans in to kiss you.

He kisses you passionately, and strongly, but with love.  You kiss back, and snake your arms around him.  He wraps his arms around your lower back, and caresses your sides.  You kiss for about 20 minutes.

"Well.  That was the best 20 minutes of my life."  You say.

"Maybe it's a good thing we fell down here."  He says with another smirk.

"Maybe we could read some of these books?"  You say.

You both were getting bored, and wanted to get something else done other than making out.

     "Sure." He says.

You grab the book which withholds the tale of Beren and Luthien.  You both read the whole book.

"That has always been one of my favorite stories."  You say.

     "Me too."  He says.

"You know, I'd go through more than Beren went through to be with you.  I'd reclaim all three Silmarils from Morgoth if it meant I could be with you."  He said.

"Oh Legolas.  And I'd do the same for you."  You say.

When it came night, and you were cold and tired, you and Legolas crawled into the bedrolls.  You pulled the covers over you, and he wraps his arm around you.

"Losto Mae melleth nin. "  You say.

"I love you."  He says.  You both fall fast asleep.

In your dreams, you and Legolas were sitting in the Gardens of Rivendell, when suddenly you heard a voice calling your name.  You recognize the voice to be Aragorn's.  His yelling gets louder and louder and eventually, you drowsily wake up to Aragorn standing at the brim of the cave, towering above you.

     "(Y/N)!!! Legolas!!"  He called.

Legolas was now awake.  You both hurriedly spring up out of bed and shout at Aragorn, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE??!!"

You and Legolas were unfortunately still sleeping (together) when Aragorn came.

"I came down to rescue you two!  But it seems like you were fine."  Aragorn said with a smile.

"I brought a rope, just in case.  But it seems like you have some stuff to pack up before you leave."  He said.

"I'll be back."  He disappeared.  He went over to a tree stump and tied the rope to it.  He lowered himself down.  You all packed your bags, and Aragorn took them up the rope for you.

     "Thank you!"  You shouted.

Now it was your turn to climb the rope.  You'd never been good at climbing ropes, and your bad grip might cause you to fall.

"Legolas, do you mind if I go up with you?  I can't climb ropes."  You ask.

"Hold onto my back, and wrap your arms around my neck."  He says.

Within seconds, you are clinging to Legolas' back as he climbs up the rope.  (This reminds me of that part in the Princess Bride when Buttercup, Inigo, and Vizzini are tied to Fezzik as he uses the rope to climb the Cliffs of Insanity.)

"Thanks!"  You say to Legolas when you reach the top.

"How did you get down there?"  Aragorn inquires.

You explain it all to him.  He looks bewildered.

"We should probably be getting on our way, we need to get a move on."  Aragorn says.

He leads the way through the forest, back to the camp where the others are.

"We should do the more often.  You know, getting stuck down the hole and all."  You whisper to Legolas.

     "Agreed."  He says.
