Roshni's eye widened at her Dad's sudden movement , she ran over to his side, held him unable to balance his weight, she called onto her dad "papa
Papa, please" she couldn't control the tears that started rolling down her cheeks. Manohar called for help, him and Arwind's driver carried Arwind to the car , Roshni ran behind them. Looking down at her dad lying unconscious on her lap,
She couldn't agree more to what the criticizing crowd told about her. Crying and sobbing not caring about her smudged make up, she prayed to god to save her dad

The driver rushed to the nearest hospital, Manohar hurried to the reception to get help and arrived to the car with two men bringing the stretcher.
Roshni was impatiently waiting outside the ICU, Manohar patted on her shoulder trying to comfort her, with hesitation in his voice he slowly said ' I'm sorry that I have to leave you now like this, but I have to go meet the lawyer right away, please call me if emergency "

"it's okay uncle, I'll take care. Thank you for being here" Roshni tried to smile but failed, the only family she had was in ICU and she couldn't think straight, she wanted to hug her father and whine, to tell him to never leave or frighten her like this ever

Working on to save a patients life on a weekend thought Surya, it didn't make him feel heroic but hectic and tired, after the tryst with the heart patient surya took his white coat in hand and opened the door to exit as he opened the door, his eyes met with a pair of a very soft yet reddish eyes, puffed up and tired and it was her the bride at the traffic signal, after all he didn't seem to feel so tired, what on earth was she doing here he thought, "doctor" her word cut in his thoughts " how is my father? " she pleaded softly, she was looking like a perfect damsel in distress. An oval face with soft eyes like puppy , thick lush pink lips and a small yet perfect nose with sharp edges. He wanted to hug the poor girl and comfort her, of course out of sympathy he convinced himself.
"umm..you're father has just had an heart attack. The mole above her lips looked too good to be true, did she draw it? he thought" but he's fine now and it's just mild so d-dont" he looked at her fingers which were long and fragile, her nails looked like art, rosy and white at the cruved edge, can a woman's nail look this beautiful he thought "dont worry" he assured her

What is wrong with me , the first time I saw her, it's just a thought that she's a beautiful girl, we do see dozens of beautiful girls everyday but now looking at her again in the hospital he felt the need to go to her again, what is wrong with you surya, the nurse on the other block who hits on you everyday, she's way prettier remember? Her coloured eyes and cute dimple, he assured himself. there are alot of other beautiful damsels in town too

He sat down to write down the required medicine for the prescription and the door squeaked open and again he got a glimpse of the sad soul sitting outside, the little poet in Surya got awakened

The eyes of an innocent puppy
The pink lips of a lush mountain
Over it a black moon
What can I do to save you
Oh damsel in distress

Surya gawked at the words in his prescription, what in the world!, he thought of how he has become a sudden poet, "what is this now I am a competition to Shakespeare and Rumi"he smiled and when the nurse neared him and requested for the file , he remembered how unprofessional he's been behaving, he ripped the paper and hid it under the leaf of prescription which he was again writing and he gave her the file, looking at the time in his watch Surya got up to leave as his shift ended, it was 12 o clock in the midnight and there he saw her sitting rather sleeping in a sitting position, she woke up to the sound of the squeaking door and he couldn't help himself from ignoring her
' I'm sorry miss, but you seem rather very tired and weak to be sitting here"
Breathing in for air she slowly responded "it's just today has been a very, tiring and bad day for me, I'm sorry but I can't leave my father here"
Without another thought he blurted out
"atleast can I buy you a coffee"
Roshni's face became puzzled by the doctor's confusing words
"I'm sure you haven't had anything since evening, that's why"
She wasn't sure of what to do,her father's sickness had made her forget the growl her stomach has been making but now since he's said it, she suddenly felt hungry again, she gave him a nod and he guided her to the canteen
