That's Sean on the right -->
(Jermey is back in Ch.2)
"I'd like you all to meet my assistant coach for the season: Coach Greyson," says our school's head coach, Coach Lasley. He starts to clap, so all the other boys who are trying out for the Basketball team do as well.Coach Greyson seems to ever-so slightly blush, something that most people wouldn't catch, but I did.
I'm at the front of the group of boys gathered in the gym, with Jeremy two guys down to my left. Coach Greyson is very well built man, he looks to be in his late 20s, early 30s. I'd say he's 5'9-ish, we appear to be the same height. His blonde hair is cut short, allowing his eyes to show off, and boy, do they. His eyes are an odd shade off blue; a navy blue that's icy at the same time. I didn't think a human could actually have that eye color. His eyes, though, look surprisingly...warm. Inviting. Usually, to me, people with blue eyes tend to have a cold expression on me, but these don't. Coach Greyson is wearing basketball shorts and a shirt that shows off his muscles (he looks muscular but not too muscular-like those people who's muscles look like balloons). Even though he's dressed like this, he seems like the kind of guy who always dresses nice; I mean, even his last name is fancy.
Did I just check him out? Is that what it'd be considered? I mean, yeah, I'll recognize that he's good looking-very- but I don't think I'm looking at him in a gay way. Maybe while I was looking at Jeremy, my brain was thinking of a really hot chick subconsciously, right?
"I'm glad to be here," Coach Greyson announces,"I hope to better this team along side Coach Lasley."
Even his voice is handsome. How can you describe a voice? Let's see: it's deep and rough, yet it's soft; every word he says is clear; he's confident, but I can imagine him being really romantic with his wife.
My eyes wonder down to his hand, but I find no ring. It's surprising to see that such a man could be single.
Coach tells us the plans for these tryouts. I'm basically guaranteed a spot on the team, just like Jeremy is, but the only conflict is to see who gets captain, although we won't know for a while, even after the players are announced.

By the time it's over, I'm ready to curl up in a ball and die. I don't think my legs have ached so much. The other guys seem just fine, but me and Jeremy look like we've been to hell and back. Twice. It seems like Coach Greyson was informed that Jeremy and I were battling for captain, because, oh man, he made us do thirty-times what everyone else did. After and hour, I lost track of who was doing better; I was just focusing on not passing out.
During the drills, Coach Greyson's eyes would meet mine, which was part of the problem. It sent sparks through me. Sparks! I almost tripped. He didn't seem fazed one bit, though. Which is good, I suppose- for both of us. One, I might not be gay (I'm not even sure at this point). Two, he's like 30 or something, I don't really know, meaning that he'd be a total pedophile. Third, and most important, he's not gay. And if I am, why bother crushing on an older man. I should just focus on the gays in my age group. Oh, wait, that's another problem: there's no gay guy that is out in my school. None. Zero. There's plenty of lesbians-more than straight ones- but not a single gay.
As I change, I realize that me and Jeremy are the last ones in the locket room-again. I quickly change into my jeans, trying to hurry in case my little friend decides to pop up and say hello. As I take off my shirt, Jermey speaks up, "Who do you think got it?"
