Jongin

I rushed into the bathroom and saw him sitting on the floor.
"Kyungsoo?" I asked. "Why are you wet?"

He looked away not wanting me to see his face.
He crawled half up, but I kneeled next to him. "Kyung, look at me." I took his chin between my fingers and forced him to look up, his wet hair sticking against his forehead.
I reached for a paper towel and started wiping him dry. "This isn't working," I muttered at the ripped paper.

I pulled the end of my sleeve over my hand and wiped his hair out of his face. Kyungsoo tried to turn away again, but my grip was too strong. "Kyung, let me help you."
I didn't know if it calmed him down, but he regardlessly sat still.

"Jongin." His voice was soft as he spoke.

"Yes?" I saw a cut just beneath his eyebrow. They were really overdoing this.

"It hurts." It was so soft I wasn't even sure he really said it.

I sighed, "I know, baby."

He looked surprised by the last word, but I ignored it.
I rubbed his cheek and leaned in for a kiss as the door went open.

Luhan came in and stopped immediately as he saw Kyungsoo. "What happened?"

"Go away." Kyungsoo murmured immediately.

"Kyung, are you okay?" Luhan asked worried.

"Yeah, you can go now." He answered bitter.

I looked at Kyungsoo and saw he was looking at the ground.
Luhan was looking at me now, trying to find my assistance, but I told him, "you heard him."

"Kyungsoo, that I fucked up when we were friends doesn't mean I don't care." Luhan spoke.

"Don't lie to me, of course you don't." Kyungsoo objected.

Luhan wanted to say something, but seemed to stop himself and walked away, closing the door behind him.

I turned my attention back to the guy on the floor and pecked his bruised lips.

"I just wanna go away and don't see anybody for the rest of the day." He told me.

"I'll go with you," I insisted.

"I don't wanna go home," he added.

I sighed again, "I'll take you with me then." I supported him to get up on his feet and opened the door for him.

I let him wait outside the schoolnurses room and the woman trusted me as I told her Kyungsoo wasn't feeling well and since his parents weren't home, I would bring him.

I leaded him to my car and drove him to my house. At this hour, both of my parents were at work so we wouldn't be bothered with questions about Kyungsoo's appearance.
As I looked beside me I saw he had his eyes closed and was leaning his head against the window.
I bit my lip, "Kyungie, how do you feel?"

"I'm fine," he said, looking at me with his big eyes.

"You don't have to lie Squishy," I told him.

"Then why do you ask me?"

"I want you to know that you can be honest with me." I frowned. "You still don't trust me right?"

He didn't answer, instead he just turned his face to look outside again.

"Tell me what I can do for you."

"I'm tired, okay?" Kyungsoo covered his face with his hands. "There's nothing you can do, just..." He didn't finish his sentence and sighed. "I don't know."

I didn't know what to say to him and lucky we arrived at my house. I took him to my room and turned the tv on while we were laying on my bed. It was a stupid show, but Kyungsoo said he liked it, so I kept watching it while his eyes slowly closed of tiredness.

As soon as Kyungsoo had fallen asleep I carefully went out of bed, trying not to wake him up.
I grabbed my phone and called Suho.

He answered at the second ring, "what's up?"

"You assholes," I growled. "Are you guys crazy?"

"Woah, what's wrong?" he asked, surprised by my angry words.
"Everything went as planned right?"

"As planned?" I scoffed, "you guys went way too far. A few hits and kicks, nothing more." I repeated their words. "This dude here doesn't look like he had a few of both."

"Why are you so worried about him Kai?" Suho's voice sounded accusive. "The whole idea of this plan was to hurt him."

"I..." I closed my eyes, how could I be so stupid? "I'll see you guys tomorrow." I quickly hung up and threw my phone away in annoyance.

I splashed some water in my face to cool down and then went back to Kyungsoo. I dropped myself next to him and pulled him close. I was so confused right now. All I wanted was Kyungsoo's warm body against mine and that wasn't part of the plan.
He woke up and placed his hands on mine, who were tangled around his waist.
He sighed, but it wasn't a sight of tiredness. It was relief.
