DRACO POV
"My dad's going to be so proud," Pansy said, examining the brand new Inquisitorial Squad badge on her robes. I just nodded. My dad would be too, but I didn't particularly care.
"Can you believe that we can take points away from people? I'm gonna get Longbottom the first chance I get," Blaise laughed, and I rolled my eyes.
"That's not very nice."
Blaise raised an eyebrow. "Since when was I nice? In fact, since when didn't you jump at the chance to be horrible to Longbottom?"
I shrugged. "I just think we should grow up a bit, that's all. Longbottom can't help being rubbish at magic."They just gaped at me, and I quickly excuses myself to go into the bathroom. I thought I had a point. We couldn't be horrible to people for things they had no control over.
As I was washing my hands, another cubicle opened and I almost dropped the soap as Harry walked towards me. He stopped too, looking nervously at the floor.
I sighed. "I'm not going to bite you."
He bit his lip and came over to the sink next to mine. He glanced once in my direction and I shot him a small smile. To my surprise, he frowned, looking at the collar of my robes."You're on the Inquisitorial Squad?" He asked, and I mentally slapped myself. I would happily fight a basilisk rather than be in this situation right now.
"Yes, Harry, but only because-"
"Because then Umbridge will like you and you can help her make other people's lives hell?"
"No! I-"
"Extra favour? A chance to get into the Ministry's good books?"
"Stop being so stupid!"
He fell silent, but continued to glare at the badge with clenched fists, like it personally held a grudge against him."I sort of had to join the squad because my father is too close to Umbridge. All of my friends joined as well, if I didn't my dad would wonder why."
He stopped glaring at me, but his fists were still clenched. "I hate this."
"Me too."
Harry looked up again. "Then do something about it! Stand up to your father, and tell him that you don't want to do Umbridge's dirty work for her."
"It's not that simple!" I snapped, and he laughed.
"It never is, is it?" He turned sharply and left the bathroom, slamming the door behind him.I threw the soap bar into the sink in frustration, and followed him out once I was sure he had gone. Blaise and Pansy were still standing outside, ans they gave me a questioning look when I joined them.
"It's nothing," I said, turning and colliding with Longbottom. "Watch where you're going, short ass," I yelled, and tears filled his eyes as he ran away in the opposite direction.
I felt a pang of guilt in my stomach, but it was quickly overcome by anger.

HARRY POV
I was still fuming from my encounter with Draco by the time I got to the DA meeting just before 8 o'clock.
"Are you alright, Harry?" Hermione asked as I came in and collapsed onto a pile of cushions.
"Draco just being... Draco," I sighed, and she quickly changed the subject to the meeting. The meeting was going really well. Everyone was working very hard to make a Patronus, and there was a proud lump in my throat as I saw various creatures swooping around the Room of Requirement. As well as that, Seamus had finally decided that he could trust me, and was thoroughly enjoying his first meeting.
But then at about half past eight, the door swung open. Everyone fell silent as the crowd parted to reveal-
"Dobby?" I ran over to him.
"Harry Potter, sir!" He gasped - he sounded like he had been running. "Dobby has come to warn you..." he swayed on his feet; his eyes were wide and he was shaking. "But the house elves are not supposed to tell..."
