HARRY POV
"You have to get rid of it," Hermione said softly, her hand resting on my arm. "Today."
I nodded, my head moving by itself. I was completely dazed, and my head was spinning. I couldn't believe what I had done. What if Draco didn't get better? I felt sick at the thought.
"Harry, you're white as a sheet," Ginny said, placing a hand on my forehead.
"I'm fine," I snapped, more aggressively than I intended.
"No you're not," she said stubbornly, passing me my glass of water. "Drink."I did as I was told, simply because I didn't have the energy to argue.
"Ok," I said, standing up. "Let's just get this done."
I looked at Hermione, but she shook her head. "I can't come with you, I've got a meeting with Professor Vector."
"And I'm meeting Lavender," Ron said apologetically.
"I'll come with you," Ginny said, and I hesitated, before nodding."Let's go."

We walked into the Room of Requirement in silence. It had transformed into a junk room, with towering piles of furniture, books, forbidden items and god knows what else creating corridors throughout.
"I wonder how many people have hidden things here over the years," Ginny laughed slightly.
I didn't say anything, so she grasped my hand and pulled me over to a tall, black cabinet in the far corner. She opened it, but it was completely empty - someone could easily find the book in there.
"Isn't this the Vanishing Cabinet that Montague got lost in last year?" She asked, and I nodded.
"One of Fred and George's last pranks."Beside it was another large cupboard, with a number of other items already shoved inside. Ginny shoved the book behind a dented birdcage, before shutting the door firmly.
Looking around, I grabbed a chipped bust of a warlock wearing a wig and placed it on top of the cupboard, alongside a pretty tiara with a solid blue stone.
"So I can find it again," I said in response to Ginny's raised eyebrow.
"Do you really think-"
"I won't use any of the spells in it," I promised, and I meant it. I had definitely learnt my lesson about that. "But I need it to pass my exam."She paused for a second, but then shrugged and took my hand again.
We left the Room of Requirement, and I stopped walking just outside the door.
Ginny looked at me questioningly. "Are you alright?"
I nodded. "You go on back to the common room, I- I need to get a book from the library."
"I'll come with-"
"No thanks, Ginny," I smiled gratefully. "I won't be long."We went our separate ways, and I found myself walking towards the hospital wing.
It was silent inside, so I let myself in through the door after checking that the corridor was deserted. Madam Pomfrey came out of her office, looking surprised to see me.
"Good evening, Mr Potter. How can I help you?"
"Would I be able to see Draco Malfoy?"
Her eyebrows shot upwards, but she nodded. "As long as you don't destroy my hospital wing."My stomach flipped. I hoped she meant that generally because of our "feud", rather than because Snape told her what I had done.
I approached the bed, my heart racing as I saw Draco, looking even paler than usual, lying on his back. But there were no bandages around his chest, which I took to be a good sign.
"Oh, Draco..." I breathed. "I'm so, so sorry."
I glanced at Madam Pomfrey's office, before gently taking hold of Draco's hand. I intertwined his cold fingers with my own, tears pricking my eyes as I lifted his hand to my lips. I couldn't believe how stupid I had been. I don't know why it didn't occur to me that using an unknown spell on the person who means the most to me in the world was completely ridiculous.
