As I hopped in the Van, I heard something behind the van. I immediately closed the door and Jenn started driving as fast as she could. I turned around in my seat and looked out the back window. There was a Blue Honda following us. All eight seats were filled... The man in the passenger seat leaned out the side and started shooting at the van. Sabrina yelped in fear as the bullet whizzed past her head.
"DUCK!" Axel Hollered.
Everyone but Jenn ducked down. All I remember is the sound of a gunshot, blood spewing everywhere, then everything went blank.
I woke up to Axel saying something in a hushed voice. I immediately noticed that I was surrounded by iron bars. I was laying on a rusty, old, copper platform pinned to the wall by 2 bent nails. I got up and looked to my right to see Axel in the cage next to me. Then Sabrina was in the Cage to my left. For some reason I didn't see Jenn anywhere. I asked Axel where Jenn was and he said he had no idea. The cages were in the back of a large concrete room. There was one wooden door on the other side of the room. It looked very out of place in the concrete and metal room.
All of the sudden, the doorknob twisted and a loud creaking noise destroyed the silence. The second I saw what came through that door, my heart started to race, I thought I was gonna die. I collapsed to the ground as tears ran down my like a waterfall. There was a man holding a zombie by a chain tied around its neck. The zombie was Jenn. It was squirming and... screeching? The man spotted me and chuckled. I tried to scream but nothing came out of my mouth. The man smiled at me then let go of the chain. The zombie limped toward me. It put its hands through the bars and started to growl. I was so terrified I couldn't move at all. Luckily, what used to be Jenn couldn't reach me. Then I spotted something. There were keys tied to the zombies belt. Axel looked at me, somehow he was holding a box of matches. He took out a match then lit it. I tried to make him stop but it was too late. He threw the match at the zombie. The zombie yelped in pain and fell to the cold, hard, blood-covered floor. I knew this moment would forever be burned into my memory. Once the zombie stopped burning Axel told me to get the keys. I was still shaking uncontrollably but I could finally move again. I crawled toward the cage door and reached through the bars to get the keys. Once I had the keys, I tried a few on the door until I found the right one. I lightly pushed on the bars and the door opened. I opened Axels cage then walked over to Sabrina's cage. She was in fetal position sobbing uncontrollably. I opened the door and entered the cage to pick her up. She stopped crying but sniffles every few seconds. When I reached the shiny, wooden door the lights went out.
