I sat and watched my fiancée, Kevin Pillar, start to warm up, it was the first day of spring training and I could not wait! Kevin walked up to where I was sitting and placed a kiss to my cheek. "Hey babe", he said to me with a smile. "Hey", I replied. We stared at each other for a moment before my brother, Aaron Sanchez burst out from the dugout. "Paige, what are you doing?", he questioned, taking a moment to laugh at his sister and future brother in law/teammate. "Not much just spending some time with Kevin, what about you" I reply to my brother. "Just getting some practice in before the game starts." He replies as he says goodbye and heads off to the field to start warming up. Kevin and I giggle a bit before we go back to our
small talk. " Only 21 more days until you will be Mrs. Pillar.", he points out with an uncontrollable smile on his face. I git a bit giddy hearing those words, in just 21 short days I would be marrying the love of my life. Before I could get a chance to reply he pulls me in for a passionate kiss. He ended the kiss and looked me in the eye," I can't wait, we are finally starting our lives together, I cant wait until we start a family and I can teach our little boy or girl to play ball just like their daddy." It was such a sweet moment, watching as his eyes lit up as he talked about having kids, perfect timing babe I thought to myself. "Well that may be happening sooner that later.", I say with a giggle waiting to hear his reaction. "Wait.. are you pregnant Paige!", he exclaimed with an even bigger smile on his face. I just nodded as I was brought into a warm, loving embrace . We stayed there for what felt like eternity, until our moment was interrupted."Congratulations guys, I can't wait to be an uncle.", Aaron said as I turned around and was met with his big arms wrapping around me. Life couldn't get much better.
