I was watching my teammates take batting practice when our trainer, Daniela, walked out on the field. I had fallen head over heels for her, she was absolutely perfect. She was so kind, and had radiating beauty, everything about her drove me crazy. Of course my teammates quickly realized this, and now would not leave me alone. They would constantly pester me about it, and poke fun at the fact I was too nervous to ask her out. As I was loosing myself in thought, I see my good friend and teammate, Kris Bryant, flirting with her! He knows how I feel about her, how could he! I make my way over to them and I can see Kris smiling, which makes me even more mad. Before he can steal her from me I speak up, "Daniela, there is something I need to tell you.", I take a deep breath before I continue, " I love you Daniela, you are so kind and have a wonderful personality, and you are drop dead gorgeous. Would you go out with me? If Kris hasn't beat me to it."  I am waiting for a reaction, my nerves are on end, then Daniela speaks up,"Of course I will go out with you Anthony! I wish you would have asked sooner!" Her reaction makes me blush, and I thank her before going off with Kris. "What the hell was that for man?" I ask him, and he burst out laughing. I give him a confused look before he explains himself, " We all knew you wouldn't make a move on her so I decided to give you a little motivation." He gives me a little push before heading for the dugout. I am a left with a smile on my face, because even though my friends almost gave me a heart attack, I still got my dream girl.
