One of my close friends, Bethany, was having an engagement party, and I and some of my other friends, Kyrie, Odell, Taylor and Brant, as well as my family accompanied me. We were all having a great time until Taylor leaned over and whispered,"Hey Chelsie, I think Giancarlo is here." She pointed over to a man, who was indeed my ex boyfriend, Giancarlo Stanton, and he wasn't alone. He was standing next to a beautiful woman and had an arm around her shoulders, and a drink in his other hand.  What we had was special, but we let our differences come between us. I was lost in my thoughts when a slightly drunk Brant came up to me and started encouraging me to talk to him, at first I am completely against it but when he says,"Come on Chelsie, we all know you aren't over him and the only way you will get him back." I am feeling quite confident, but then I remember the girl he had with him. I am still wandering towards him, but with little confidence as the thought of the woman he was with lingered in my mind. I was startled out of my thoughts when I ran into someone, I pick my head up ready to apologize, when I realize who I ran into, Giancarlo. Before I can open my mouth, Giancarlo is speaking,"Hey Chelsie! It's been a while." I nervously reply,"Yeah it has hasn't it.", I cringe at how unsure I sound. There is a bit of an awkward silence before Giancarlo speaks up,"You know Chelsie, I think my biggest regret was leaving you, I miss what we had, I miss the way that you could make me smile even on my worst days, I love you Chelsie, and I want you back." I am in shock at his words, I miss him too, but clearly he has moved on, and I won't be the reason that they breakup, no matter how much I want to, and I explain this to him,"Giancarlo, as much as I would love to have you back, I can't. I saw the girl you came here with and I don't want to come between you two." He looks at me for a second before he started laughing. I'm standing in front of him, extremely confused before he explains himself,"Chelsie, that was my sister, I was just introducing her to some friends. I swear I am 100% single!" I feel like a complete idiot, but at least I have the love of my life back. He pulls me in for a hug, and leans in for a kiss. As we are kissing I can hear my friends cheering, and all I could do was giggle into the kiss.
