Chapter 6 (part two)

It was the time. Arabella had already left, to "inform the boss", about what we were planning.

I looked over to Dandy, he wasn't as calmed as a few hours ago, he seemed worried, but it was nothing compared to Tate. He was shaking with fear, sweat running down his face. Someone was going to notice. Dandy seemed to understand what I was trying to say, because he held Tate close to him, rubbing his back and trying to comfort him. Kieran was talking to Piper and I was waiting for Arabella to make her move.

Suddenly all the lights went down, and everyone started screaming. The guards stepped aside from the door and walked outside to see what was wrong. Now it was our turn. We stood up quietly and started walking toward the kitchen's door.

Once we got to the door I slightly pushed it and it opened. We ran inside and closed the door behind us. I pulled out the walkie-talkie and waited for Arabella to indicate the next move.

—  Jerome, it's me. Do you copy?

—  Yes, but this is not a game, what do we do next? – Kieran said.

—  Fine. Walk to your right, there's a part of the wall that's darker than the other. Can you see it?

—  Yes, I do. Now what?

—  Okay, just wait.

We stood there for a few seconds, until the part of the wall that Arabella had mentioned, started to move to the left, revealing a window.

—  Okay, if I pushed the right button, your seeing a window right now.

—  Yes, what now?

—  Jump.

I looked over to Tate, Dandy, Kieran and Piper, feeling that I was never going to see them again.

—  See you on the other side.

And I jumped.

I screamed from the top of my lungs as I fell to a big black empty nothing. Pretty much like at the ending of the therapy sessions. Suddenly I was on the ground. Dandy, Tate, Kieran and Piper were there too. Out of nowhere, a person started running toward us. He didn't seem like a normal guy, though. His skin was melted, and he was growling, blood coming out of his mouth as he did.

We started running as fast as we could, and the landscape changed as we did. Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring. Everything changed as we ran.

Finally, we made it to a house. We ran inside and locked the door behind us.

—  Okay, but...What the actual fuck?  –  Kieran said, running out of breath.

—  I know, right? –  Dandy agreed.

—  Hey, guys? There's another door here.

We walked to the door and took a deep breath.—  Ready to run?

I opened the door, but what we saw, wasn't at all what we were expecting.

The city was destroyed.

This is it! It ended up being pretty short💀 But I'm already planning the sequel.

I'd like to thank Leticia for helping me with this. Thank you Lu for reading. Girls from ugly vunts™.  I'll post a playlist with the songs I inspired to write this, later. Also, I'll let you know when I post the sequel.

Thank you all again.
