Emma
"Maybe there's something under the couch." I muttered wiping my swollen eyes. Tear stains visible on my face. We promised we would never lose anyone again and yet...

More tears began falling down my face and I quickly wiped it on my sleeve. Katie ran over qqand hugged my arms rubbing it. I let out a sigh of relief.

"I'm sorry. I just can't-" I muttered.

Oh god. If I was acting like this what about Jayce and Peter. How would they react?

"Let's just move it." I muttered walking over to the end of couch. Katie joined me and Bella and Jill got the other side.

"There's a hatch right here!" Bella shouted excitedly carrying the couch with her own strength in a matter of seconds. She opened the hatch and jumped in first.

Jill and Katie jumped in right after. I turned around and looked at every building that stood in ruins. It reminded me so much of Arin and Ella. My eyes saddened. I had no wish to continue being part of the dragon clan if it came with all this suffering. I clenched my hands, my hair castes a shadow over my eyes. I just wanted to end this misery.

"Emma!" Voices shouted. I looked down and saw the smiling faces of my friends. No, my family. I couldn't just leave them. I unclenched my fist and returned the same bright smile.

"Let's do this." I jumped in and watched as the darkness enclosed me.

"There's a crevice over there." Katie muttered. She summoned her glitterlight, Shun. The cave was fully black, there was a 98% of slipping and falling to your death.

"Are they really in here?" Bella asked clinging onto my arm. She's deathly afraid of spiders and butterflies and basically any insect that comes in contact with her vision.

Jill, Katie, and I let out a laugh despite of the circumstances.

"Probably. If they weren't here, someone else could have came." Jill said. We continued on and finally we reached an opening.

Greenery surrounded us.

"Isn't this..." Katie said, "Where we camped out?"

My eyes widened. What the heck was this? We all jumped out and ran to the lake. A small stream connected the lake to the cave we were just in. Was this how the person poisoned the water?

"But what about how the ground opened up?" I asked staring at the crack in the ground.

This is where we last saw Ella and Arin.

"Not sure. But we are one step closer to solving this." Jill said with a tone of determination, "For Arin and Ella. For everyone we lost."

We all cheered.

"Why don't we check out the town that the kids' parents were at." Katie suggested.

Jill nodded and changed into her armpit that enabled her to fly.

"Over there!" She shouted telepathically.

All of us switched into our gear that allowed us to fly and we were able to get there quickly.

Sadly, I couldn't fly. Instead, I used my vines and made a small bridge for me to walk over.

The town was empty. There was nobody in sight. That was what we thought until we saw the mountain.

The mountain of flesh, of dead-like people. They were all under a deep slumber. It was the power of the flute. The flute has been here.

Katie walked forward and touched one of the person's neck.
