Chapter Six: Argravaine will tell you

Merlin’s POV

It had been Freya. She had been the one to shout my name. My heart leapt into the air; well that’s how it felt anyway. I struggled under the chains and I tried to use my power to break them but nothing seemed to be working.

“Let him go,” said Freya as she walked further into the room. I was happy to see Freya but I was also concerned for Arthur right now as Morgana has knocked him out. I couldn’t believe what was happening.

“Who are you?” asked Morgana.

“Someone you shouldn’t mess with,” Freya warned.

“Why is that,” laughed Morgana.

“You never saw me. I am Freya. If you remember a druid girl with a curse yeah that was me and I died. Merlin brought me back. He shouldn’t have though but right now I’m going to kick your ass,” said Freya.

“Freya no...I can’t watch you die again,” I said as tears dripped down my face.

“Don’t worry Merlin. I am not going to die,” said Freya.

“We’ll see about that,” said Morgana as she began to enchant a spell.

Freya was too quick for her and said a spell before Morgana did. Morgana flied back into the wall but she stumbled to her feet. “You’ll have to do better than that,” Morgana cackled/.Morgana chucked a spell at Freya and I watched her fly into the wall. Freya got to her feet but holding onto her head and I saw the blood on her hand as she looked at it.

“Freya no!” I screamed with anger.

I watched in horror as Morgana walked towards Freya. I noticed out the corner of my eye Lee and Morgause coming around. Oh no! I tried to get out the chains. I put all my energy into it and it worked.

 I stumbled to my feet in pain. I began to whisper a spell knowing it was cowardly to attack Morgana from behind but I had no choice. Morgana flied forward and Freya stepped aside. Morgana crashed into the wooden doors and passed out.

“Merlin watch out!” screamed Freya. I turned around just in time to grab Lee’s feast which was about to pile into me.

“You’re going to pay!” Lee screamed as he forced more power into punching me. I kept his hand there and looked at him. Lee went flying backwards landing on the floor in pain but he was still conscious. I heard the scream which belonged to Freya. I looked around to find Morgause putting a knife to her throat.

“Why don’t we just all settle down shall we,” she grinned.

“If you hurt Freya!” I shouted storming towards her but stopped when Morgause put the knife closer to Freya’s neck. 

“Ah, ah, ah Merlin I don’t think so,” she laughed.

“What do you want?” I asked her.

“You know what I want.”

“I can’t allow this,” I said looking over at Freya. I can’t lose her again but I can’t allow Morgause and Morgana take over Camelot. It’s happen before and I can’t let it happen again. This is my fault.

If I hadn’t helped Lee, none of this would be happening. My selfish ways have caused this. I couldn’t help it though I love Freya and I wanted to see her again, be with her. Why is life so cruel? I seem to lose a lot of the people I love and I’ve had enough of it.

I turned and shouted a spell making Lee smash into the wall knocking him out again. I felt sorry for him but I have no choice right now. I turned back around to find Morgause walking towards me with Freya.

“You really don’t know what you’re getting yourself into,” laughed Morgause.

“I think I do,” I said.

“Do you really believe Arthur will give you what you want? The only way is to allow Morgana to take the throne. She will bring magic back,” she smiled.

“No he will,” I said as I felt something behind me. I was too late as something smashed over my head knocking me out.

Freya’s POV

I gasped.

“Argravaine,” said Morgause softly.

“How do you know who I am my lady,” he smiled evilly.

“I have been in contact with Morgana through the spirit world. Check Morgana and Lee are alright. After that we will all gather together and we will have to get Merlin and Arthur with us too.

“You won’t get away with this,” I said to her.

“I will.”

“Why Merlin?” asked Argravaine as he went to check Morgana first.

“Don’t you know,” said Morgause.

“Know what?” he asked.

“Merlin has magic,” Morgause grins.

“Why is he working with Arthur still then?” he asked.

“He believes Arthur will bring magic back to the land but I am not sure why that is,” said Morgause.

“Argravaine,” said Morgana as he helped her to her feet. “What is going on?” she asked.

“Not to worry sister. We have it under control. Check Lee. Morgana, can you bring Arthur and then Merlin over here in front of my feet please?”

Morgana did what her sister asked. “Why are we bringing Merlin?” asked Morgana.

“Argravaine will tell you.”
