Chapter 3

The school was finally done for the day. I was walking out to the parking lot. I zoned out the whole day. I just couldn't get him out of my head. The way he said "mine" he had me feeling a way that I never thought someone could feel. Rose was freaking out in my head the whole time. Screaming MATE MATE MATE! Who's Rose? I think you have a guess but let me tell you...

Rose is my vampire spirit or so that's what I've been calling her, I am a special kind you could say. Vampires aren't supposed to have a spirit. But I do, Drew is trying to figure out why. He has done a lot of research, so far much hasn't been found. They called a pack meeting to start at 4:30. Which would happen to be two hours before the party tonight.

I used to have to go straight home to my aunt, but she's barely home anymore. When she does come home she hits me. Since she's human her hits don't affect me as much plus I heal quickly. What she says hurts the most.

I finally got to the packed house. When I walked in There was a bunch of people. It's him, I could smell him. Why is he here? I saw Drew and smiled at him while I walked into the kitchen and sat down on a bar stool. Leah one of the pack members pulled fresh baked cookies out of the oven.

"Would you like some?" She smiled at me gesturing me to take some.

"Oh yes!" I live for cookies! I love cookies so much! They are chocolate chips too! I slowly died as I took a bite of the cookie closing my eyes not even realizing I was moaning while eating it. Leah laughed at me a little bit.

"I didn't know they were that good" she chuckled.

"They are! Trust me!" I gave her a big smile. "Hey, do you happen to know what this meeting is supposed to be about?"

"I don't know they said we had to show up to find out" Leah responded.

"Huh" Leah walked out to go take something while I continued to eat my cookie.

"That noise should only be made for me" I felt shivers go down my spine as my mate whispered in my ear. I still don't know his name yet. I looked into his eyes.

"Oh really now?" I asked smirking at him. That's the first time he has heard my voice. I watch him close his eyes and shiver a bit. Wow, I defiantly have an effect on him.

He walked towards me and had me trapped between the counter and him. He had a smirk on his face.

"Yes. Now listen closely" I looked at him with wide eyes keeping contact making sure to listen closely. Damn it I'm such a smart ass;). As he opened his mouth to talk I put another cookie in my mouth and started chewing slowly trying not to laugh. He looked down chuckling a bit, I could hear his laugh very well. While he was doing that I took this as a time to check him out more. You could see his muscles on his shoulders, I could tell his back would be defined. It looks like he has a six pack as well. I started to get this weird feeling. I was getting turned on..... by him my 'mate'.

"I can smell your arousal" he whispered making me lean my head back in delight.

"I can see the lust" I whispered back. I felt him put his face in my neck. My breathing hitched.

"Alpha. It's time." Drew said to my mate. Drew smiled at me and walked out of the room I know he'll want to talk about this later. Before leaving my mate smirked at me. I stood that shocked wide eyes at what I just herd. Did I hear that correctly?

"Alpha?" I think I have some shit to figure out.
