Alpha Jake

Chapter 4

Now that this alpha training is complete I get to come back here to look after my pack. I went to training 5 years ago sent by my dad. He wanted to make sure I would full fill the alpha job. Before I left we looked through people to select as a Beta and take the name for now as the "Alpha". Only the Beta and the third in command knows about this, as of course my dad. If anyone else was to know, whoever told them would well they would be punished, I know that sounds dumb but our pack had more of a chance for attack if the other packs new the alpha was gone. I was taking over this pack because of my uncle, usually, the beta would take over but he didn't want to. So my dad alpha of MoonStone sent me to this pack. Which I didn't have a problem with I wouldn't mind having a change of scenery.

At the camp, it was really well put together. There were twelve cabins and they were set up in a circle around each other. The medical room we had was close by as well. They had us build upon our own pack training and our Beta's had to show up some days themselves. They had us on a schedule 4 days out of the week we had training for us which was getting fit. I have to say I worked hard for what I have now, I can't wait until I meet my Mate. The other 3 days of the week was fighting. We fought with other alphas and gave tips on each other.

Now, are you wondering if all the alphas go to this camp then why would they attack? Well, 12 alphas from the whole world are allowed to attend for their five years. People come at different times like when I got there it was an Italian alpha last year. There are at least 2-4 alphas in each state throughout the world.

You are made to do this by the Guild. The Guild is like the government for "mythical creatures". You are forced to go to training just to make sure you have the basics down. Guild has control when a werewolf has a human Mate, you are either allowed to be with them or they kill them. They can kill any mythical and supernatural creature that tells a human or hunter anything about werewolf's, fairies, warlocks, witches, leprechauns, giants, vampires, shapeshifters, wendigos, centaurs, mermaids, dragons, griffins, Pegasus, elfs, manticores, pixies, chupacabras, barguests, Cerberus, Garuda's, and well anything else you can really think of.

Well, now that is all pretty much out of the way. I have returned to my pack. I don't need to attend school but it's the last year and there's only a semester left. When I got to the pack house this is basically how it went down.

Wow five years and it hasn't changed much what would I expect though.

"Jake!" My mom and sister came running from the door.

I gave my mother a hug then leaned down and picked my sister up and spun her around. My sister should be about 12-13 now. We are actually 5 years apart surprisingly. My mom and dad were having a child before Elina but one day when my mom woke up the baby was gone. Literally taken from her stomach, they said to had found the baby dead in the Forrest. But that's a story for another time. But I also have a twin her name is Amber Stevens.

"Holy shit! You look like you should be 25 now!" Elina exclaimed. I looked at her surprised by her cussing, I mean I cuss but she is just barely 13. I'm surprised mom didn't scold her.

"Elina! What have I told you about cussing!" My mom slapped the back of her head. There the scolding is...

"Yes I know I look a lot older I am an adult now" I chuckled she was eight when I left and I was just fourteen, but now I'm nineteen.
