Graduation day. Sitting here for two hours already getting tired of hearing the speeches, I was ready to be called up and get my stuff. Looking around watching everyone sit in their caps and gowns. The rows were filled with blue and white. Blue stood for the boys and white stood for the girls. The first row stood up walking up to the stage. Names being called while their families cheered indicated this was starting to go fast and should be over soon.

Soon enough my row was called up to the stage. We walked in a line meeting with all the staff that stood up on stage in a line. Shaking hands and most of the students and staff getting emotional. We all walked down one by one sitting in our chairs alphabetical order, which is what we did coming in.

Finally, the last row sitting down, they said their goodbyes and good lucks to use graduating seniors. Horns were blown and whistles erupted through the crowd. Everyone then took their hats off throwing them into the air. People stood up hugging other people around them.

I couldn't help but be happy. I was done with school and I could finally move on with my life. Lucky enough I found my mate in high school. My thought was just really on how I get to start my adult life with my mate.

Getting congratulations from classmates around me I finally started to make my way to my friends and mate. I found Liza first who also had Sam already attached to her side. We walked out of the crowds to find our other friends. Jake walking up behind me wrapping his masculine arms around me gave me tingles. I became happier than I was before. Just being in his presence gave me happiness, and honestly, I loved that. I couldn't ask for anything else.

This led to Drew and his mate who is Jakes sister finding us and walking up to meet with our group. Watching this site of all of us smiling and feeling fulfilled and ready to move on was a great sight. I couldn't wait to watch what Liza and Sam had planned for themselves. I couldn't wait to see how Drew and his mate would plan for themselves either. Of course, as Jakes sister is only a year younger than him but in the same grade, he made sure to let know he'd always be watching Drew.

I was sitting on the couch with Jakes at the pack house watching TV, That's the 70's Show was having a rerun for the day of season 1 through 3. Jakes phone ringing interrupts Red insulting his son as usual. Showing his son some love.

"Hello" his voice sounded deep and groggy mostly because he was just half asleep.

"Alpha Jake I have news about Emma. Please come to the meeting house quick!"

"I'll be right there" Jake pulling me up off the couch intertwining our hands and fingers together turned off the TV.

"I think he has news about your vampire and it's spirit."

Our walk only took about five minutes to get to the pack meeting house. Sam was waiting inside for us and Drew since he had seemed to not arrived yet.

"Where is Drew?" I asked

"Probably making out in a closet with my sister" Jake responded. This allowed the room to be filled with laughter. Our laughter slowly started dying as we heard footsteps coming. Soon enough the door opened with an exciting looking Drew and an Amber holding stacks of books walking through.

"So I think I found out why you have a spirit."

"Okay well let's hear it!" I was quite excited I wanted to know I was a vampire and had a spirit. I mean I was so called a vampire but I never really felt like it. My senses were more like a werewolf and I wasn't to fast on foot. I was really strong but that was the biggest trait I would really have as to being a vampire. I also had really bad anger issues but no one knows about them because I learned how to control them at a young age.

"Okay, so as I was going through the books in the library to um dust them off and reorder them I came across a few books. Now at first, I was like these are really different books than we usually have in our library. So I opened them and started skimming through some of them. Oh goodness, Jake when even was the last time those were gone through there was a least an inch of dust just sitting on more than half of the books."

"Drew can you please just get to what you found? I don't want to hear about what you were doing." Jake responded. I hit him with my arm. Even though I was way more curious excited and a bit nervous to find out what he knows Jake still needed to be as patient as I was.

"Yeah Drew, first of all, you don't dust shelves unless you talking about you had Amber up on one of those shelves." He chuckled at Ambers red-faced reaction.

"Know who is off topic" Drew sassily stated.

"Still you get back to what you found!" Jake was letting his anger out at his point. They realized this and Drew opened one of the books.

"Right, sorry Alpha." He nodded he head down in submission. "Skimming through this books I found this." He pointed to the single paragraph of words on the page.

Dormant Wolfs
A wolf being abused at a young age can cause them to hide. The wolf won't shift on time........

"Drew can you please just explain what you found to me" I was too excited to read. I wanted to hear it now!

"Emma your not a vampire at all. You are a wolf. Your childhood has affected it to go dormant. Rose is actually your wolf and your wolf protected you by all the vampire crap."

"Why haven't I ever shifted if I'm a wolf?" I asked. Jake had this look of holy shit on his face but he tried to mask it by looking away.

"Actually that's the bad part," he replied with a painful expression.

"What is?" Just as I asked that the sound of bones starting to snap filled the room while I screamed in pain.
