Chapter 13: I'll be your light

[Stella's POV]

 

3 Days...

It's been 3 days since Kaytee left us. Everyone was sad. Zeke was nowhere to be found. And Tear is very depressed. Kaytee naman kasi ehhh di nagpasabi na aalis na siya T_T

"Ate, matulog na po kayo. Baka po magkasakit kayo. Ang tagal niyo na pong di natutulog ng maayos."   Sabi ni Anya, sister ni Kaytee kay Mi.

"I'm fine, Anya. You should rest yourself"           sagot ni Tear habang ngumingiti ng malungkot.

"Sige na po Ate. Kung nandito si kuya ngayon, sigurado magagalit yun."                               Natahimik silang dalawa sa sinabi ni Anya at napatulala. Nakita kong tumulo nanaman ang mga luha ni Tear.

"A-Ah Tear, tama si Anya. Matulog ka na muna. You can come back when you are properly rested."        Pangbabasag ko sa katahimikan. Baka kasi mag-emotional nanaman si Mi, mahirap na. Asan kasi yang si Zeke kapag kelangan mo! Grr...

Napahinga ng malalim si Mi bago magsalita.

"Okay, fine. Pero matulog na rin kayo. Tara na Anya sa kwarto. Klye, I know you're also exhausted sa kaka-antay sakin. Get some rest too"

Sabay na umalis si Mi at Anya. Ganun na talaga yang dalawa. Suoer close. Kayanga nung nalaman ni Anya na wala na ang kuya niya, kay Mi agad siya tumakbo at umiyak. Hayy... -__- I feel tired. Makatulog nga...

Nothing really happened this week... Puro pagluluksa lang... Di na rin naman nagpakita si Zeke. Ewan ko dun. Kainis. Kelangan siya ni Mi, lalo na ngayon ~_~ Pero asan siya?

Pagkatapos iscatter yung ashes ni Kaytee sa isang cliff sa Busan, dumeretso na kaming umuwi ng Pinas. Pagdating naming, sinabihan ako ni Mi na umuwi na. I volunteered to accompany her naman eh. Kaso, ayaw papilit... Hayyy Mi... I hope you'll be fine Y_Y

[Tear's POV]

 

Kevin... Ba't mo ko iniwan? Why didn't you tell me sooner?

 

That's the question that's been repeating thousands of times in my head since Kevin... died.

Hopefully, I have recovered from my mental breakdown because of Anya and Klye's company... but not completely though...

When we arrived at NAIA, I told Klye to go home. I don't want her to see me in this state any further.

I went to bar as soon as we separated. This is the first time I'm doing this... I don't care anymore what will happen...

"Tequila"            I told the bartender as soon as I sat down. Well, no one will doubt if I'm under aged. Because I don't act like I am. Typical.

"Sure thing."      Then he started mixing things...

Memories still keeps on popping into my head...

I hate it...

Again, why? Why am I the only one suffering like this?

Is it the payment for my fortune?

When will it end?

 

"Here's your tequila"                     said the bartender as he placed the alcoholic drink in front of me...

"Thanks"              I answered as I stared into thin air.

"You're not supposed to drink things like this, now, are you?"                  said a guy who stopped me from drinking. What's his problem?

"Back off! What is it to you anyway?!"                   I glared at him

"'Come on! Don't be such a child! Stop this Idiocy! It's bad for your health, isn't it?"      he asked with worry in his eyes. Heh. No use trying to fool me now with his tricks when his true colors have already been exposed -_-

"Hoho... I never knew that the REAL YOU is this kind. Heh, You can fool me once Zeke, but never again."                              I stood up, paid for the drink and left the bar.

Dyahe, panira ng sirang araw -_-

I was about to open my car when somebody grabbed my hand and hugged me tightly.

"Ano ba?! Bitiwan mo nga ako!"                               sigaw ko sakanya habang pilit na nagpupumiglas.

"I know you're sad Tear. Like I said, you can cry on me anytime. I may have changed, but that fact still remains true."                                    Ewan ko ba. Pagkasabi niya nun eh parang nawalan ako ng lakas sa pagpupumiglas at sa di ko malamang dahilan eh niyakap ko siya at nagsimulang umiyak.

"That's it, Tear. Let it all out."

"Nakakainis ka! *sobs* *sobs* San k aba kasi nagsusuot ha? G*go ka rin eh no?! *sobs*"              I said in between my sobs.

"I know ^_^ I'm a jerk. And from now on, I'll be your light."

"Huh! You have to ask my permission first."

"I don't have to. It's not a question but a command. So you have to follow me *smirk"

"YOU @SS!!! TSK. Magagawa ko?!"
