Chapter 14- Shopping Time!

Next morning, we all were woken up by Aunt Kelly, who had remarked that Ella and Fiona had also caught on to Tiffany and mine sleeping habit.

Actually, she was correct. Waking up at 11:35a.m. was normal for Tiff and me, but for Ella and Fiona, no way! They would always get up early and God knows do what! I don’t understand the point of waking up early.

I was lost in my random thoughts, when a maid entered the room.  She had brought us all hot coffee, which smelled amazing even from such distance, and some muffins along with it.

We had brushed our teeth by then and so we attacked the heavenly items held by the tray.

“Yumm.. Delicious.” Fiona said while eating.

“Agreed.” Ella said.

I was lost in devouring the taste so I just nodded my head.

“So what’s our plan today Tiff? You must have planned something, right?”

“I was thinking that we can go shopping. I can show you some really great stuff around here. What do you guys say?” Tiffany replied.

“Shopping!! Of course! Why are you even asking?!” Fiona said, already bouncing up and down.

“Sure. I’m in!” I said. Of course I was looking forward to some shopping.

“We should get ready then.” Ella said.

We hummed and resumed with our muffins.

“I’ll be right back guys. I have to call Blake and check up on him regarding the party last night.” Tiff said and left the room.

“Umm.. Guys?” Fiona cleared her throat.

“Yeah.” Ella and I both said in unison.

“So, today we are going shopping. Umm.. There’s a problem. Actually’ I haven’t brought enough money and you know once I start shopping what happens. I was just thinking that I should get some job as I wanna buy a lot many things, so, you know to pay for my stuff.” Fiona finished.

“Fiona, you don’t need to. You can borrow from us,” I motioned my hand to stop her from saying something and continued, “I know that you don’t want any favors and all. So, you can just pay us later, whenever you wish.”

“No, m not gonna do that.”

“Why? Fiona come on.” Ella said.

“No guys. I don’t want to borrow money and what’s the problem with getting a job? You know I had plans to get a job back in California too, so why not here? And, the money would also be helpful for my tuition fees at the arts academy I plan to join.”

Ella and I looked at each other and nodded in understanding.

“Fine then. You are nit going to take a job alone. We are too.”

“Really? It’s not needed. We are here to have fun and I don’t want to spoil that.”

“Fiona it’s final. And who said a job can’t be fun?” I said.

“Aww guys. I love you so much.” Fiona said beaming happily.

“Love you too cheerleading idiot.” I said sticking out my tongue at her.

Just then Tiffany returned.

“So, what happened last night? Everybody okay?” Ella asked.

“Yeah, it was nothing. Some neighbor had called the police as he’d seen some kids smoking weed there. But, these guys have their own ways and experience and all. So, yeah everybody’s okay.”
