Arizona was driving home on the verge of tears. She decided to pull over and just feel everything. She held herself and cried for what seemed like a few minutes but in reality was an hour. Her phone started ringing and that was when she realized the time.
"Hello?"
"Arizona.... Hi. I-I love you, and im sorry that I left you." Callie said.
"Calliope. I love you too more than you know but you have Penny. And I need to move on, you couldn't be with me because you felt trapped and now you feel free I don't want to be the one that holds you back from that." Arizona let out a shaky breath.
"Arizona please just listen to me."
"Okay."
"I love you. I always have ever since you kissed me in the bathroom at Joe's. I thought i could be truly happy with Penny but I can't, I need you. I tried replacing you with Penny but i still didn't feel whole. You left a whole in my heart. I guess I needed you to tell me to be happy to realize the only way I can be happy is with you."
Arizona was on the verge of tears again. Callie had felt relieved because she finally got everything off her chest and out in the open.
"Arizona when I kissed you I wanted you to know how much I still love you. Everything we have had is still true and I want you to know that."
"Cal-Calliope I can't do this right now I'm sorry. I love you and i want us to be together but you need to be free and happy." Arizona said feeling some of the weight in her heart be released. She could hear Callie getting choked up over the phone.
"Goodbye Calliope."
"Arizona please no come back and we can talk and figure out how to make our relationship better this time. Please Arizona let's be a family again."
"I'm going to go over but if this doesn't work than we know that we just aren't for one another."
"Okay but baby please just come let me know when you're outside."
"Okay, and I think you should put Sofia to bed soon that way we can talk."
