You focused too hard on what you wanted, and not what you needed.
Kenna feigned interest as she watched a bunch of students on broomsticks throw balls through hoops while two special players got to chase after a golden enchanted ball.
She thought it must look better then it sounded but right now she wasn't so sure.
The game had been going on for twenty minutes and nothing thrilling had happened as far as Kenna was concerned.
However, Teddy seemed to be enjoying himself seeing as he cheered every five seconds. Hanna wasn't really doing anything except leaning her head forward every few minutes.
When Kenna tried to see what she was looking at, Hanna pinched her knee and said, "you have your own problems, honey."
She rolled her eyes and continued watching the game but it didn't get anymore interesting. Maybe she shouldn't have agreed to come.
Oran had been nice to her these past days so Kenna felt she should be nice to him.
However, she found herself missing the days when she never owed anyone anything.
"Why'd you looking like that for? Smile while watching your boyfriend play what's-it-called," Hanna teased.
Kenna rolled her eyes. "I don't get what's going on. Why would anyone sign up to this?"
"I like it," Teddy smiled.
Hanna scoffed. "You would," she muttered and Kenna hit her on the knee.
"What's wrong with you?" Kenna asked her blonde friend. Hanna's eyes began to wander and Kenna thought she had lost her again.
"I think I'm in love," Hanna admitted and said the word 'love' like it was a swear word.
"With yourself?" Teddy suggested sarcastically which earned him a finger from Hanna.
The blonde laid a hand on Kenna's shoulder. "You know all about love, Karamakov, how do you know that your in it?"
"I don't know what you're on about, Relly," Kenna replied.
Hanna waved her hands frantically. "We just going to forget all about Tommy boy? I had hopes! I mean, Oran's cute but what's original about cute? Seven million other people can be cute!"
"Since when are we rooting for Riddle?" Teddy muttered but didn't seem invested in the conversation.
"Who are you in love with?" Kenna questioned Hanna, hoping to change the conversation.
Hanna seemed very happy to have the attention back on her. "Her name's Daisy, a Hufflepuff. Merlin, them Hufflepuffs..."
"I've never seen you talk to a Hufflepuff before," Kenna said.
Hanna rolled her eyes in an obvious way. "That's because I don't know if she likes me, Kenna. Why do I even talk to you people about things?"
"I want to know about your life, Hanna," Teddy chimed in with a big smile.
"Do go back to stalking that Gryffindor seeker, Theodore," Hanna smirked.
