Chapter 14

Kalil-

I sat and stared out at the blue cloud scattered sky as I ate my corn flakes, it was a beautiful day and I wondered why I didn’t feel that great today.

The house was silent except for little sounds like the residents sleeping and the dripping of a tap and nature sounds from outside and the clink of my spoon against the bowl. I decided somewhere while I was munching on my food that I would go and hang out with Kyran today.

I hoped that he would be able to make my mood a little lighter; I put my dishes away and walked off to my room to find my phone. I picked it up and started making a new message.

Me: Are you busy today?

I stuffed my phone into my pocket and looked around my wardrobe for a jacket and picked out a plain red hoodie. I tugged it on over my head and I went and fixed my hair scruffing it up.

I felt my phone vibrate in response and I jumped because I forgot that I had it set on vibrate. I retrieved it and read the message smiling.

Kyran: Miss me already huh? Nah I'm actually going to go and take a walk, Wanna come?

Me: Yes! Right now?

Kyran: Yes now, meet you at the front :P

And just like that my day has gotten better; I head out the door in sneakers, a black band tee, normal bluish jeans and my hoodie. I smile warmly at the sexy guy who’s taller than me, younger than me, smarter and more interesting.

I'm glad that things weren’t weird yet, I didn’t need that right now. I fell in step with him as we started walking down the concrete path and it was like 6:25 in the morning. The air was crisp and clean as it could possibly be, the air was also cool and refreshing when breathed in and hit by it.

We walked in silence when Kyran stopped and started looking around. “Kyran what are you doing?”

“I'm… uh well” He says while nervously running his fingers through his hair.

I narrowed my eyes at him and he started to dart his eyes around avoiding my gaze. “Spit it out Kyran” I say in my best demanding tone that I can gather and he looks right at me frightened. Damn right he better be frightened.

“IThereMightUmBeAStalkerGuyUhFollowingMe” He says in a rush and my eyes widen at his jumbled and spaceless sentence, I concentrate hard trying to make sense of what he said but all I managed to gain from that was the word ‘Might’ and ‘Guy’ (Naruto fans would get this :D).

I took in a deep breath and walked towards him putting one hand on each shoulder and shaking him roughly before stepping back. “Calm down and say it again but slower” I told him and he took in a few unnecessary breaths and I rolled my eyes as I waited.

“Never mind, let’s go I'm much better now” He said while pulling me along by my arm.

I huffed knowing that I couldn’t stop him and gave up letting him drag me to our random destination. We ended up stopping at a train station because Kyran wanted to get a train guide or whatever they’re called that have the train times.

“So are you thinking of travelling are you?” I ask him and he looks at me and shrugs, “Not really, but it’s just in case when this place gets too much I’ll have a getaway plan” I nod and think that I should have had one when I was living at my old place.

“What time is it Kyran?” I ask him once again another question and he pulls out his phone and checks it before showing me; I nod and notice that I have to get back soon. We’re near home when a little boy with dark brown shaggy hair and big warm brown eyes almost making him look like an anime chibi.
