Sam's Step Sister

Chapter 2

Santana's POV:

It was coming to the end of the school day and I was waiting for Sam by my locker. We had glee club first and I heard Finn telling everyone how 'Hot' Brittany was, I personally wasn't fussed and Sam assured me he just saw her as a sister. I was still waiting when Rachel came up to me.

"Hi Santana" She greeted with a smile.

"What Berry?" I snarled. I was Top bitch at this school and captain of the Cheerleading squad, Just because I was in the glee club doesn't mean I was going to associate with the 'losers' outside of class. And besides, Rachel is annoying.

"I was just wondering if you had seen Kurt?" Her smile faltering.

"No" I saw Sam coming towards us "Leave" I said to her, she nodded and turned to walk away.

"Hey Rachel" Sam smiled.

"Hey, Sam" She said quietly and walked away faster.

"What did you say this time?" He chuckled softly.

"Nothing, I just don't see why she needs to talk to us outside of Glee" I shrugged and we started walking to my car.

"She's our Friend, just because we're popular and they're not doesn't mean we can't talk to them" He said firmly.

"She's annoying Sam" I said rolling my eyes.

"What ever, So ready to meet my new Family?" He said excitedly.

"Yeah, Am I staying for dinner?" I asked, we hadn't discussed it yet. I started driving over to his place.

"Yeah" He replied, We drove the rest of the way talking about Glee club and what song we were going to perform next session.

We walked up to his door, he pulled out his key and unlocked the door pushing it open so I could walk in first. We walked into the living room where a blonde woman was sitting.

"Hey, This is my girlfriend Santana" Sam introduced me.

"Hi, I am Shannon, nice to meet you" She smiled and shook my hand.

"Nice to meet you too" I smiled back and looked up to see Sam's dad Oliver walk in.

"Dad, Santana" I waved as we had met once before briefly.

"Hello, Dinner will be done at 6" He said to Sam and I.

"Okay, Is Brit upstairs?" He asked to no one imperticular.

"No, She is out with Quinn, She said she would be home for dinner" Shannon said looking at the time which said 5:01pm.

"Santana and I are going to go upstairs and study now" Sam said Gesturing to the stairs, I gave one last smile and headed up to follow him.

When we got into his room he sat on his bed and pulled out his books, I sat opposite him crossed legged, and pulled out mine.

"Dinner is ready!" Oliver called up the stairs. We both scrambled off the bed and headed to the door, I strolled down the stairs and noticed that the dinner had already been placed on the table, I sat down next to Sam, When Oliver and Shannon sat down I noticed Brittany hadn't turned up yet. Looks like Sam was thinking the same because he asked 'Where's Brittany?'

"I think she's La-" Shannon started but was interrupted by the door opening.

"Sorry, I'm late, I didn't realise the time" Brittany was holding 5 bags which had multiple different clothing store logos on.

"That's okay, your dinner is in the kitchen" Oliver called to her as she hadn't actually entered the dining room, however you could see her.

"I will be back in a second" She ran upstairs I guess to put her bags away. She first grabbed her dinner from the kitchen, then entered the Dining room. I looked up to greet her but I couldn't form words, She was beautiful, Her eyes were a gorgeous shade of blue, Her hair was lightly curled and just below her shoulders, I was shook out of my silent analysing when she started talking, her voice was so sweet and angelic.

"Hi, I'm Brittany" She said as she sat down.

"S-Santana" I smiled, she smiled back and then turned to her Mom who started speaking about cheerleading. I decided not to listen and turn to Sam who nudged me slightly.

"What do you think?" He asked putting food in his mouth.

"Well, I haven't actually met her yet, but she seems polite" I made an obvious observation, he nodded and carried on eating.

A little while later when we were all done with our meals and awaiting on desert Sam decided to start a conversation containing Brittany and I.

"Santana is also a Cheerleader" He said leaning his elbows on the table.

"Really? I bet captain?" She raised an eyebrow to me seeing if she was right.

I nodded "Yeah, how about you?"

"Co-Captain with my Best friend Quinn" She took a sip of water "What position do you play on the football team Sam?"

I sat and listened to Brittany and Sam talk, I occasionally laughed and added some sentences here and there, however I just wanted to listen to Brittany talk. Throughout desert, I learned some things about her, Such as: Boyfriend, school and she might transfer. I also found out she has the cutest giggle ever. I caught myself staring a few times but quickly looked away so no body noticed.

"I have to go study now, nice meeting you Santana" Brittany said as she was getting up from the table, that's when I realised the 3 of us had been sitting there talking for 2 hours, it was just coming up to 8pm. I started panicking that I wouldn't see Brittany again until I had to have another study session.

"Hang out with us tomorrow" I blurted out. She turned around and raised her eyebrows, I looked to Sam and he was giving me the same expression.

"Rachel, one of our friends" I glanced to Sam and he looked shocked that I said that Rachel was a friend "Is having a get together at her place, you should come meet everyone" I smiled afterwards.

"Oh, Uh, why?" She asked a little confused. I looked to Sam and eyed him to say something. He cleared his throat and started speaking.

"Yeah you should totally hang out with us, My friends all want to meet you, and if you're going to transfer at the end of the year you might want to know people" He shrugged, it looked like he didn't hate the idea at all.

"Yeah, okay sounds fun" She smiled and left the room. Sam turned to me.

"I thought you wasn't going to that?" He asked me.

"I figured, Like you said it'll be a good opportunity for Brittany to meet your friends" I tried to sound casual.

"Yeah, they all bugged me today about meeting her" He laughed " You like her?"

"Yeah, She's great" I got up from the table while he was smiling.

"I guess I should go now, I mean the 8pm rule?" He checked the time and nodded.

"Well that's only in the bedroom but Yeah, I will see you tomorrow at school" He kissed me on the cheek and ran upstairs while I waited in the living room for him to get my bag.

"Thanks" I said as he gave me the bag and walked me to the door.

"Bye" He waved at me while I started the car and drove home.

I couldn't stop smiling the whole way home, Just the mere thought of Brittany gave me butterfly's, But then I remembered I was dating Sam and that I wasn't gay and I just wanted to be her friend, yeah, That's it, just really good friends.

Short chapter but it's just getting started so...Opinions??
