Chapter 11- Hurt

Zoey's POV
I will still really surprised about not having Homework and half of the week off of next week from school. That means I still have time to do some stuff with Mitch. I smiled just thinking about it. I knocked on Mitch's window. Was he not home?
I then went to go knocked on the door. He answered. I guess he wasn't in his room.
"Hey sorry to bother you, I just haven't seen you in awhile" I said hugging him. He was pushing me away?
"Listen that's great but I really need you to go" He said being pushy. All of sudden, We both heard a voice.
"OH MY GOD MITCH" It said. I looked behind Mitch's back. I can't believe it. It was my friend, my only friend, my best buddy. It was Amanda.
I felt so heart broken, so betrayed.
"Mitch...I thought you loved me.." I said beginning to cry. He stuttered.
"Zoey, it's not what you think. I DO LOVE YOU" He said from the distance. I kept running away. Sobbing.

I wasn't gonna turn back.

~ 5 minutes before Zoey arrived~

Mitch's POV
I was about to record a video, like a little vlog explaining why I haven't been recording until I heard a knock on my door. I opened it. It was one of Zoey's friends.
"Hey" She said with a smile.
"Hi, you need something?" I asked. She walked in without my permission. Okay. What the hell?
"Uh, are you lost?" I asked her again. She walked up pass me to shut the door. She smiled back at me.
"I do need something" She going back to a frown. She sighed while biting her lip.
"Uh, and what's that?" I said asking back stepping away.
"You" She said back. She kissed me. Oh my god. No. Why. We both heard on the door, she started taking off my pants. I tried removing her hands off, but she already made it down there. I opened the door. It was Zoey, oh my god, no.
"Hey sorry to bother you, I just haven't seen you in a while" She said hugging me. Oh my god, my heart.
"Listen that's great but I really need you to go" I said pushing her away.
"OH MY GOD MITCH" A voice said. Oh, no. She ran away from me. No, no fuck.

"WHY DID YOU KISS ME?!" I said pushing her. She started crying now, her name was Amanda.
"YOU LOVE ME MITCHELL DON'T HIDE IT" She said. Oh my god, this girl.
"I never said I loved, stop lying" I said back. She tried grabbing me again to kiss her. I pushed her to the wall. I tied her. I slammed my hammer into her stop. No one could her scream.
She was passed out, not killed. Thank god. I drove her, and put her out by the tree.
I had to go find Zoey.

Zoey's POV
I drove so far away. I thought Mitch loved me. Why did he have to ruin everything. He's so rude. Does he even care about me, or is he using me?
I went to the liquor store. I bought beer, drugs, everything that can make me forget about him. I found a place far away from where I lived, where Mitch was, everything. I got a massive hangover, did the worst things to myself. Everything like I said. I heard my phone go off. I answered it.
"Hello?" I said sickly.
"Hey, It's me Jerome? Did you get Ryan's cold" He said joking.
"Who are you?" I said as my hangover took place.
"Uh, I'm you're friend, Look I know you're sick but, come on now. Where are ya?" He said.
"You don't know me" I said again.
"Zoe, where are you..this is really concerning me" He said.
"I...I'm at this park, and I don't even know what the hell it says, it has a playground, and a treehouse where there's a couple making out in" I said.

Jerome hung up. He must be coming to get me.

Jerome's POV
I was taking a nap the next day, got so much stuff done. I heard a knock on my door. It was Mitch, he was crying.
"Yo, dude, what happened" I said. He came in grabbing a beer from my fridge, it was my dad's but I didn't care. He was crying so hard, so bad, he was like screaming. I sat next to him.
"JEROME WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE TO LIKE ME" He said in my shoulder as I hugged him.
"Because, you're an amazing person Mitch" I said back being a good friend would.
"ONE OF ZOEY'S FRIENDS KISSED ME AND SHE SAW JEROME" He said
"Oh my god, you want me to call her, so you guys can call" I said asking.
"I TRIED CALLING HER, SHE WON'T RESPOND SHE HATES ME" He said. I called anyways.
She answered, she sounded awful just like Mitch did. She said she didn't remember me, she must be on drugs.
She said she was a park with people making out in a treehouse. Anderson Park.
"Mitch she's at Anderson Park" I said.
"That's so far" He said getting more beer. They both need to be with each other again. Okay let's do this Jerome.
"Buddy, let's go come on. I'll drive since you will be drunk" I said. Mitch got his jacket and so did I. We drove for 4 hours, he puked at least like 6 times. I wanted to die. I didn't puke surprising, and I have a weak stomach.

We finally made it. Mitch looked awful now. We found Zoey passed out. Mitch wasn't as drunk anymore, he slept. He was still a little tipsy.
"Zoey!" Mitch called out. I ran toward her with Mitch. She was looking the other way. Mitch touched her on the shoulder. She looked toward him.
"Zoey, I'm so sorry, she kissed me first. I never wanted to kiss her. She just did it. I tried pulling away but she kept grabbing me, I couldn't move" Mitch said. Zoey didn't move or flinch. She just stared at him. She started crying.
"No, I'm sorry. I love you Mitch" Zoey said. Mitch grabbed her and held her in his arms. They kissed. I was happy they made up.

Mitch stood up. Zoey stayed down. What?
"Zoey, you don't need to feel bad, let's get home" Mitch said.
"No Mitch, I can't move, I think I sprained my ankle" Zoey said.
"What did you do to hurt your ankle?" I asked.
"I was running and I tripped on something" She said. Mitch picked her up bridal style.

We took Zoey to the hospital, it wasn't long. She wasn't in crutches, she only had a brace on. She had a boot too. Mitch smiled and helped her out the door. We helped her into the car. She was herself again. They got together. I was happy for them.

Zoey's POV
My foot didn't hurt badly. It just itches me. Mitch stayed with me until I got better. We watched How I met your Mother on Netflix and ate food. He took a photo of me cuddling his arm. He added me so I could see it. I took a picture of him too, he had a beautiful smile that I always loved.
I posted it and renamed him as "Mitch aka Bae" with a red heart emoji.
He renamed me as "Babe" with the same emoji. He smiled and kissed my forehead.

I viewed his story as it had the caption of "With my beautiful lady" with a heart next to it. I smiled at it. I was so lucky. I knew it was a mistake of him kissing my friend, I should have never did those things to myself. Mitch cuddled next my shoulder. I grabbed his hand, he held it mine tightly. I heard him giggle. I looked down at him.
"What are you laughing at?" I said asking him.
"Oh, nothing, Neil said something funny on the show" Mitch replied back. I forgot we were watching Netflix.
"Oh, sorry, I forgot we were watching this" I said laughing.
"You wanna keep watching it or something else?" He said asking me getting up.
"No Mitch please come lay down, this is fine" I said back. He laid back down and kiss my cheek.

After a few minutes we found each other sleeping.
