Chapter 18- The Promise

Zoey's POV
Wow. Me and Loren aren't friends anymore. That was a big change. It was worth to being with the best boyfriend ever. Mitch kissed my forehead.
"I'm so sorry I punched her" Mitch said.
"Don't be, she deserved it" I said back
"How?" He asked.
"She wanted things to be her way, she was basically taking my idea, and making me have to lose you just so her and Jerome can't be with each other" I said annoyed.
"So she basically wanted us not to be together anymore just so her and Jerome were broken up" Mitch repeated trying to understand it.
I nodded. "Dumb whore" He said.
I giggled.
"Well that is not happening. Me and You are gonna live our whole lives together, to being married, to having kids, to being old, till were dead" Mitch said making it a promise. I smiled.
"Agreed. What about Jerome?" I asked.
"I got that planned out" Mitch said.

~ 2 years later ~

Mitch's POV
Well, my plan worked just the way I wanted it. I got Zoey and Amanda to be friends again, To Jerome having a girlfriend in which that is Amanda. Jerome thought she was beautiful like the same way Jerome thought of Loren. Me and Zoey didn't go back to school, and Jerome moved away to Amanda's old state in Texas. Zoey and me were a lovely couple just the way we were meant to be. I wanted to do something big. I wanted to marry her. So I called the guys up for a dinner party. Everyone I invited all came, Adam, Jerome, Alesa, Amanda, Tyler, Jason and more.
Everyone loved the drinks, and food.
"GUYS! ZOEY IS COMING HOME" Adam said screaming. Everyone gathered up. We heard the door open.
"SURPISE!!!" Everyone and myself screamed. Zoey smiled so happily and out of shock. I got up and hugged her, she kissed my lips.
"What was this for?" Zoey asked.
"Because Mitch wants to tell you something?" Adam said confused. I held Zoey's hand. I was so nervous.
I bent down. Zoey gasped.
"Zoey Hartsford, the love of my life, Will you take the honor and pleasure, and willing.. To marry me" I said my voice cracking at the end. I took out my ring, it was a diamond one.
Zoey had no words. "Oh Mitch..I..I..YES I WILL YES" She said screaming. I kissed her, we both started breaking down into tears.

That had to be the best night of my life

~10 years later~

Zoey's POV
That night, 5 years ago, was amazing. Pictures framing on the walls, bed unmade. Me and Mitch finally grew old together, we were so tired, restless, and useless. I died from cancer, and he had the same. We went to our school that was also old and broken just like us, we watched it die.
Our last few words to each other were
"Zoe, thank you, for the love, the willing, the beautiful soul living upon me to letting me be you're husband, and I told you we made it this far" He said to me
The last thing I said back to him was
"You know what was funny?"
He looked at me with his old confused face.
"We came to this school, and now we gonna die here" I said.

The Last thing on saw was the face I saw when I first met him, and he will forever be that same boy that I met at school.
