Leo opened his eyes to a place bizarre and dreamlike. A cool wind blew the dark green blades of grass, whistling as it caused the grass and trees to rustle gently. Dew drops covered the ground, filling the air with a damp, forest smell. The stars twinkled above, reflecting off of the dew drops and creating a sea of sparkles along the cool ground. A mist hung low in the air, and two people were barely visible in the distance. Leo tried to make them out, but they only appeared as silhouettes to him, for the fog nearly shrouded them completely.

"Leo," a voice said. It seemed to be coming from the direction of the two people. "Leo," the voice said again. "Come, we've missed you." "Who are you?" Leo tried to say, but his words caught in his throat. He couldn't speak. "Leo, this way," the voice said. Leo tried to move forward to see the people more clearly, yet he seemed to be moving as if he were walking through water. Yet, Leo kept moving forward, however the people seemed to be moving farther and farther away. As he continued to walk towards them, for a moment, he caught a glimpse of blonde hair. "Are you-"

"Leo, sweetie, it's time to wake up," Camilla said, tugging gently at Leo's blanket. "Don't forget that your coronation is tomorrow. We have to get you ready." "I know, I know," Leo groaned, hiding his face in his blanket for warmth. He felt oddly cold this morning. In fact, he felt odd in general. "What could that dream have meant?" he pondered.

Camilla noticed the confused expression on his face, but decided to ignore it. Though she had been awake hours before him, her magenta eyes showed a sense of tiredness. Leo wondered if she'd even slept. There was an awkward silence in which Leo continued to lay in bed, staring off, while Camilla twirled her hair, seeming nervous. "Sweetie, let's go eat breakfast okay?" Camilla said suddenly, as if there was something she was thinking about that she didn't want to focus on.

Leo gradually rose out from the covers, and sat at the edge of the bed, messing with his untamed hair. He stretched out his arms before standing up, Camilla helping him keep his balance. She walked him towards the door, and he tried to escape her grasp on his hand. "Camilla, I'm fine... I don't need you to hold my hand." Camilla looked pained in a way, and sighed. "Sorry, darling... I only wanted to keep you close to me, baby brother." She gently pat his head, causing him to frown and blush with embarrassment. "It's just.." she paused. "You're all I have left, now..." Leo suddenly felt remorseful for telling her to stop, and quickly grabbed Camilla's hand again. He admitted, it was nice knowing she was there for him. Camilla was right about him being all she had left, and she was all he had, too.

As they walked through the dimly lit halls, down the spiraling staircases, and through the tall, dark wooden doors, they'd finally reached the dining hall. Effie, Arthur, Niles, Odin, Selena, Beruka, and Laslow were already there eating breakfast. Peri must've been making food still along with the other cooks. Camilla barely had to scan the room to find an open table, and walked towards it, dragging Leo along with her. Not long after they'd sat down, Jakob came over with their breakfast. "Would you like extra sugar cubes for your tea, Milady?" he asked as Camilla began drinking her tea, and didn't look too pleased. With a nod from Camilla, Jakob swiftly placed the rest of the food at the table, and rushed off to get the sugar cubes. She watched Jakob race off, as if waiting for him to no longer be within view, and turned to Leo.

"Everything alright, dear? I know these times are tough, even though we're no longer in war. So many terrible things have happened lately," Camilla exhaled deeply. Leo stirred his tea, his eyes fixed on its dark liquid, as if in a trance. Camilla kept staring at him solemnly, waiting for his eyes to meet hers. "Leo..?" He kept staring into his drink. "I'm fine." She could sense the lies in his voice, no matter how convincing his tone was. "Leo, look at me." Leo stopped stirring his tea. He tentatively looked up from it, and finally his dark eyes met her magenta gaze. "Tell me what's wrong," she insisted.

What would he say? There were so many things wrong, he wasn't sure where to start. Corrin was gone and betrayed them, Xander and Elise were dead (and that was Corrin's fault!) he was going to be crowned king tomorrow, which he wasn't ready for whatsoever, and his best friend, Odin, would be returning to his homeland in a matter of days, unlikely to return. Everything had changed so much in the short time that Corrin had left. It was as if once she left, it had a sort of domino effect of bad luck, one dreadful event after the next.

He couldn't handle thinking of all of these negative things anymore. He wanted to talk to Camilla about them, but the words caught in his throat. His throat started to become sore, and he felt something drip down the side of his face. It took Leo a few moments to notice that he had started crying. He hid his face in his hands, trying to cry as quietly as possible.

Camilla reached across the table, and pat Leo on the shoulder. She wanted to bring him closer to herself, to bring him into a tight, warm embrace, but she knew that people would notice that. Camilla knew Leo was clearly trying to hide his emotions as best as he could, even though he had broke into a sob. "I...I..can't be here," Leo sniffled, barely managing to say anything at all. He stood up from his seat and ran upstairs, his figure a bit shaky as he moved. Camilla clenched her fist and winced. She hated to see him like this, especially since it was such a rare state for him to be in. Determined to comfort him in any way possible, Camilla chased after him, her lavender hair bouncing behind her as her heels clicked against the flights of stairs.
