Chapter 7

Airabella's POV

After we left the boys we got on some more ride and then went back to my house. 

Serifina's POV
                Once we were back to her house Ari kept going on and on about how they don't own us and don't even really know us and she thought they were cute and I just smiled and tried not to laugh until she noticed and I couldn't help it anymore. As soon as I started laughing Ari said in a frustrated tone as she crossed her Arms at me "What part of this do you find funny!?" And I just laughed again before taking a deep breath and saying "It's just hilarious how you let that get under your skin, for all we know they could've met them before and known they were asses and been helping us" And she just rolled her eyes and said "I doubt it, and even if that was the case I can look out for myself, what we do is none of their business"  at this I shrugged and said "ya, maybe your right, but they could've had good intentions" And she said "whatever". At this I looked at her again and chuckled and said "maybe you just let him annoy you cause you liiikkkee him" with a childish sing song voice and she laughed and said "As if he is a total douche" And I said "fair enough" before she continued and said "besides you are the one defending them and playing dumb at the fair maybe you like Dylan!" And I laughed and said "ya, ok" in a sarcastic tone before adding "me and him are just friends he doesn't even like me like that, besides I already told you I'm not going to have a real boyfriend until college, all the guys in our school are either jerk, don't like me like that, or gay" And she said "true" And we laughed before we decided to forget about what happened and get some homework done.
After awhile I decided I wanted to go home and told Ari I would see her tomorrow. It was kinda late so she gave me a ride since we didn't know where the hunters would be so we had to be as safe as possible. So she dropped me off and went home after I opened my door for my mom to be asleep on the couch. So I gentley covered her up with a blanket and turned off the TV that was on and locked all the doors to be safe before going up to my room and checking my phone. I saw I had a text from Dylan that I hadn't noticed and opened it:
D: Hey, you ok about earlier?
S:IDK it was weird you shouldn't have let Mason do that and frankly you could've corrected it as well. I would've said so earlier but I was to confused about what he said incase you might have said something and I missed it.
Despite the fact that he had apparently sent that an hour ago he answered me write away and said
D: You're right I'm sorry. But would it be so bad if we were together???  ;)
S: whatever, don't do it again, and not to hurt your feelings but I don't think Ari and I really want you guys to keep hanging around us. Sorry :(
At this he called me and I instantly hit the reject button, my mom was a light sleeper and I didn't want me being on the phone to wake her. He quickly texted me after and said:
D:why didn't you answer? I want to talk about this.
S: my mom's asleep and there is nothing to talk about. Ari is my best friend and your friend pissed her off and if he keeps it up she is going to kick his ass.
D: But why can't we still hang out?
S: It isn't like we will never see each other we do still have class together and such but based on who we hang out with I just think it is for the best.
D: We'll see about that. Besides, I couldn't help but realize you never answered my question xD Cya!
S:Wait No!
But he didn't answer and I huffed and through my phone on my bed before picking out some PJ'S and going to take a shower. When I got out I quickly brushed my hair and got dressed before checking the time to see it was already eleven since I got home so late and my mom had migrated up to her room so I just went to bed and groaned knowing tomorrow was Monday.
The next morning I quickly got ready for school and went downstairs to say goodbye to my mom since she was going in a little later than usual and I decided to just call Ari to wake her up and walk to school instead of getting a ride. It was a really nice day and as a backup to make sure she got up I sent her Aunt a quick text to make sure she gets to school on time.
I got to school around the same time as normal and decided to just hang out in my first class until Ari got here.
It only figures that Dylan chose the one day I'm alone in the morning to show up early and claim his seat next to me saying "Good morning sugar plum" And I just rolled my eyes and said in a monotone "Don't call me that" And he looked around before smiling and saying "why? Do you not like it? Noone is here so what's the big deal?" And I just shrugged and smiled at what he was doing and said "If you must call me anything just call me my name, and I know what your doing and it isn't going to work, I told you I don't think we should hang out anymore" And he looked a little hurt before looking smug and saying "that is a mean thing to say, but its ok because I don't think you mean it" and I looked at him, crossed my arms and said "oh really, and why is that?" And he smiled and leaned closer before he said "because you've been to nice every other time I've seen you for me to believe that you are serious" at this I got a little frustrated and said "think what you want but I'm serious" As I got up and walked to the door of the classroom kind of frustrated before I turned around and said "oh, and to answer your question from last night, yes, it would be horrible to be with someone as ignorant as you so don't pretend that we are like your friend did" leaving him with a shocked look on his face as I stormed out and met Ari in the hallway as I ushered her to go faster and she asked me why and I said "no reason, just Dylan cane early today and is being especially annoying and she said "ok" As we met up with our friends and talked until the bell that signaled we had to go to class and Ari and I wished each other luck on having to deal with the boys in our first periods and I told her not to kill Mason because prison doesn't have Netflix and she said she wouldn't.
During Advanced Algebra Dylan kept trying to get my attention and I just ignored him as he tapped my shoulder and slid over notes until finally at the end of class he just slammed both of his hands on his desk making me jump and look at him as the teacher gave him the "really" look and shook her head. At this I finally said "why on earth did you do that!?" And he smiled and turned his chair towards me and sat back down and leaned back putting his feet under my chair and said "well it is about time I got your attention" with a smirk and I just rolled my eyes and said "You are a child, and I'm pretty sure if you do that again your going to be sent to the office so I wouldn't recommend it" and he smiled and shrugged before saying "I may have done something childish, but it worked, your talking to me" at this I sighed and turned towards him after putting my stuff in my bag and said "fine, you have my attention, what do you want?" And he said "I want to hang out with you,just you and me. That way you can see if you really think I am ignorant" At this I felt a little bad because he was trying really hard to get me to hang out with him but I knew if I let him hang out with me Mason would probably use it as a perfectly good reason to bother Ari and I refuse to throw her to the wolves even if she can handle herself I doubt that they would know what they were getting into if they pissed her off. Face it, how could they? Between being a witch and a black belt she is a total badass. So, I looked at him sadly and said "I'm sorry but I can't, but I appreciate you trying, maybe you aren't completely ignorant after all" And he said "give me one good reason" And I  said "I have plans with Ariabella" And he smiled and said "I never said when" And I laughed and said "doesn't matter, we always have plans" And he said "well in that case I guess you to will just have to steal you away when she is busy" And right then the bell rang and he winked at me and walked out as I met Ari In AP Government.
