I am going to start off by saying I AM TOTALLY STEALING SOMEONE ELSE'S IDEA! I just thought it was really good but they only got four chapters into it ;-; don't hate me.

(Also this is only movie Hiccup, none of the tv crap has gone on yet meaning you are both about 15-16)

You were a collector. A collector of things that most 15 year old boys wouldn't collect, but you collected them all the same. Lining the study were shelves holding figurines from movies, comics, animes, and tv shows. It was a hobby, and it made you happy.

You had figures of the cast of Tangled, Spiderman, Nemo and Dory, Shrek, the nightmare before Christmas, and many more. But there was one that was just amazing.

You know how they say that people aren't supposed to have favorites? Well you had favorites. And your most favorite of all time was the most detailed figure of Hiccup you had ever seen. Everything was accurate and, in your eyes, perfect.

This is a story of favorites.

It had been a bad day. A very bad day.

"I failed the Spanish quiz, dropped my lunch, twice, and in gym class dodge ball had become target practice. I WAS THE TARGET!" I yelled at mom over the phone. She asked how my day went. I answered.

"Are you really coming home late today?" I sighed.

"Unfortunately, yes. I have work to catch up on and hours to make up." She said on the other line. "There's leftovers in the fridge. I love you" she said again.

"Love you too mom." I hung up the phone.

I walked up the stairs and slammed the door to my room. Just as I was going to take a breath to relax, I heard something crash in the other room. I opened the door to the study and found the Hiccup figurine laying on the ground. In a blind panic I picked it up and furiously checked it for damage.

Oh thank god, my day hasn't gotten worse. I thought. Instead of putting it back on the shelf and moving on with my life, I studied his face for a little bit longer.

Standing up, I clutched the figure close and walked back into my bedroom. Sighing, I decided to just nap the stress away and climbed into bed, not bothering to put away the figurine or even kick my shoes off.

With the little Hiccup laying on my chest, I drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

---

I woke up to my phone buzzing with my morning alarm. It was 6:30 and I needed to take a shower and clean my room. That might sound quick and easy but you haven't seen my room.

I tried to roll over, but there was a barrier. There was a barrier that I quickly realized was a person. There was a RANDOM PERSON SLEEPING IN MY BED. Every ounce of panic settled into my stomach as I tried to figure out who in the world would be so creepy as to crawl into my bed in the middle of the night.

Having only a slight heart attack, I slowly got out of bed and stood up. To scared to turn on the lights, I just turned on the bedside lamp onto its dimmest setting and quickly saw a striking resemblance between the stranger and someone I was very familiar with.

Hiccup?

He was curled up in the fetal position clutching one of my pillows. He was wearing his signature outfit with the vest and everything. I looked down to his legs and saw that both were intact. That would make sense, the figure had both legs too.

He shifted and I realized how royally screwed I was.

Hiccup, was sleeping in my bed and I had to be at school in an hour and a half.

I rolled him onto his back and got a good look at him. There was no doubt, this was Hiccup. I moved to sit on the edge of the bed and brushed his soft auburn hair out of his face. I felt the same warm feeling I got from the figure and I was convinced. Without realizing it, I had begun to trace his features, just as I had when the figure was held between my hands. Lost in thought of studying his face, I hadn't noticed he had woken up until he took a sharp breath and made an (adorable) confused whimper.

I realized I was on top of him. Quickly shifting my position I pinned his legs down and held his hands together above his head. The poor thing was scared shitless and pulled a 'please don't hurt me' face as he closed his eyes. I didn't dare move above him. After a few seconds he opted to open one of his eyes, seeing I hadn't moved.

He heaved a sigh of relief and opened his mouth to speak. Moving quickly I covered his mouth with one of my hands and shushed him.

"Hey, hey. I'm not going to hurt you. I just have some questions I want you to answer quickly, and quietly. Okay?" He nodded slightly and I moved my hand.

"What is your full name? How old are you? Where are you from? And do you how you got here or why?" I said.

He looked up at me, as if processing the questions and said in a low whisper-
"Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, 15, I'm from Berk, and no.

I knew it. I knew it, knew it, knew it.

"I knew it." I whispered.

"Well if you knew it why'd you ask me?" Hiccup said.

"I just had to be sure, that's all." I said absentmindedly as I got off of him and started picking things up off the floor, throwing them into the laundry basket in the hall outside my room.

"Can I ask questions now?" I heard Hiccup say behind me. He was sitting on my bed and just staring around in a mixture of confusion and awe. His hair was messy and he was just being unintentionally adorable.

"Yeah, I know you must be confused." I stated and leaned on my (messy) desk.

"What's your name? How old are you? Where are we and why am I here?" He asked.

"My name is (Y/F/N), I'm 15. You're in my bedroom, but more specifically in (place), and I don't know." I said.

"(Y/N)? Who are you talking to?" I heard mom walking up the stairs. I quickly made Hiccup lay on the bed and I threw my blanket over him. Mom opened the door and I acted busy picking up stuff.

"No one, Mom. Just, uh, looking for my phone." I said picking my phone off the ground and waving it slightly in my hand, trying to act convincingly.

"Well okay. Get ready for school Hun. And make your bed, you know better than to scrunch you blankets up like that." She said as she closed the door.

A few seconds later Hiccup and I let out a collective sigh of relief. I turned to Hiccup who was taking deep breaths.

"Hiccup, you're coming to school with me."

"Oka- wait what?!"
