Hiccup watched as I furiously raced around my room and shoved clothes at him. There was a pair of black jeans, socks, a pair of sneakers, and eventually a shirt that was hurled at his face. Hiccup was having thoughts racing around in his head as I just tried to collect things for an average day of school.
"Put those on." I snapped him out of his trance.
"What?" He asked.
"I said put them on. I admit, your regular clothes are cool, but you have to blend in with the rest of the population."
"Wait, wait, wait. I still don't understand what's happening. I remember flying Toothless and then everything just, going black. like I had fallen or something. Next thing I know I'm here in a place I have no knowledge of, waking up in a complete strangers bed, being scared shitless by said stranger, and now am having articles of clothing thrown at me."
"I'm sorry I can't explain. I don't know what or why this is happening either, but you can't stay here. It's not safe. My Mom will actually kill me is she finds you, so get changed." I said and I took off my shirt to change.
"Woah, warn a guy!" I heard Hiccup yelp as I turned to see what had happened. His eyes were covered and he was blushing. He actually looked like he wanted to melt into the bed frame, but I couldn't be sure.
I then realized that I was alone with a (cute) boy, shirtless, in my room. All of the teenage hormones were screaming to do things that didn't involve putting another shirt on, but I ignored them and pulled on the clean shirt.
"Hiccup, this is no time to be shy. Just change your clothes, we gotta get out of here." I rushed, throwing socks in Hiccup's general direction.
"Just, turn around please." He squeaked.
"Fine. Just hurry."
I complied and when he was dressed I picked up my backpack and cautiously opened my bedroom door. I checked both ways, making sure it was clear and stepped out of the safety that is my bedroom. I heard water running and knew that Mom had gotten in the shower.
I made a mad dash down the stairs with a newly dressed Hiccup in tow. Now, I gotta be honest, he looks better in my clothes then I did.
But that isn't saying much ;-;
I walked out the front door and to the bus stop. I sat down and Hiccup sat next to me, looking around. I knew I would have to explain something sooner or later, so I decided to start with the basics. I decided to pull up a world map on my phone and explain everything that I knew was happening.
"We, are here." I said, pointing to our location on the screen, "It's called (wherever the fuck you want to be). Dragons don't exist here, so don't worry about that. Berk doesn't exist here, so we still have to figure out how you got here. Oh, and it is the year 2016." I said.
"What do you mean by 'Dragons don't exist here.' Like, don't exist in this place, or don't exist at all?" He asked.
"Yeah, pretty much. No dragons." I said.
"Wait, but if you don't have dragons here, how'd you know that where I'm from does have dragons?" He enquired.
"It's... A long story. Let's just say that I know things and leave it at that." Hiccup looked at me, seemingly frustrated. I get it. You wake up in a strange new place, a new world, and your only source of information just closed a very important door.
"Wait, did you say 2016? Are you serious?" He asked, astonished. I just shrugged, unable to give him anymore info of that subject.
He sighed and looked up at the sky. I looked over at him and felt the same warmth again. It calmed me down, and I was about to say something again but I was interrupted by the bus pulling up.
