Three days later, I got out of the hospital and got ready for the funeral.
Of all people, why her? Why now?
I sighed, trying not to cry. A bunch of memories of her rush back to my head.
"Liz?" Dana suddenly came in my room.
"Ate..." She hugged me tightly, "I thought it was gonna be a great vacation."
"Well, at least she's in the happier place now, right?" She said, hugging me tighter.
She's right though. I mean, Mel is in a better and safer place now.

"Hey, Mel," I looked down at her grave stone as I sat down on the grass. "It's been a week now since you left and it's been really hard to go to the uni without you. Tom isn't doing good, either, so could you tell God to give him hope? I mean, it will be really helpful for him. But, your family is doing a little better. First of all, your brother came home, as well as your dad. I hope you're doing well with Tita Jane up there.." I sighed and touched her grave stone, "I'll see you later." I stood up and saw Cameron behind me.
"Cam?"
"I'm here to tell you everything."
"Okay."
