CHAPTER FIVE
Alexis' POV
Is this a joke?
I, Alexis delos Reyes, am being asked by my first love out on a date?!
I was shocked, to say the least. I wasn't expecting this to happen. I thought this would only happen in my dreams, but no. It happened in reality, and I didn't know what to do.
I opened my mouth to say something but closed it again because I have nothing to say. I was speechless, stunned even. And the look she's giving me wasn't helping me to form coherent words. Especially when she smiled.
Oh God! I think I would pass out...
I can't take it anymore, so I ran.
I ran away from her.
It's not because I didn't want to accept her offer. I mean, I would love to go out with her! Who wouldn't? I was just scared that when I said yes, things around us would become a blur and I would wake up from my blissful dream.
I'll admit, I wasn't thinking when I ran away.
Whatever. It's not like I'm going to believe her anyway. It's hard to do that. She might be my first love and first kiss, but she still doesn't remember. There's no way in hell that she meant was she did at the cafeteria.
Yes. It's true that Cassidy's my first love and first kiss, but I don't think she remembers everything...
*Flashback...(12 years ago)*
"Mommy! I want to play outside!" I told my mom, while holding my doll. I love this doll, because mommy said it's as pretty as me.
"Alright sweetie, but don't go far away. Okay?" my mom said. "We will just unpack our things, then we'll leave to eat elsewhere. So, be back before the sun sets."
I nodded excitedly. "Yes mommy."
We moved in here because mommy said that daddy has a new job, and it's near this area. So, we evacuated.
I walked a little, while looking at my surroundings, trying not to go far away. I didn't want to get lost and worry my mommy. Mommy trusts me so much, because I always do what she says. That's why she lets me play outside.
While looking around, I saw a huge park nearby and ran as fast as my little legs can.
There in the sandbox, I saw the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. She's nothing compared to the doll I was holding. Her beauty just can't be compared by my doll, even by myself. She was really beautiful.
I approached her slowly and waved at her. "Hi."
She looked up at me and whispers shyly, "Hi."
I smiled. "I'm Alex. What's your name?"
"Alex? Isn't that a name of a boy? Are you a boy?" she asked while tilting her haid to the side, making her look so cute. I want to pinch her cheeks!
I examined her. She has a long black hair, and sparkling blue eyes. I think she's a year younger than me, and I just turned 6 years old last week.
My blonde hair is cut short, thanks to my allergies. It makes my nape and neck so itchy, so mommy decided to cut it. And mommy once said I look like a boy, so that must be why she asked me if I was a boy.
