Chapter 4. Stuck in the stock room.

CHAPTER FOUR

Cassidy's POV

I stopped inside the school's stock room, where the food supplies were hidden, to take a deep breath from all the running that I did for the past two hours. It was too tempting to steal a bunch of food here right now, because I was starving. I didn't get the chance to eat at lunch because of my little stunt at the cafeteria, which was unbelievable! I still can't believe that I did that! It wasn't like me to ask someone out like that, especially if it's a girl! And now I'm skipping my classes! This is really freaking unbelievable!

What's happening to me?!

Another unbelievable thing is that the stock room isn't locked. It's always locked everyday, and the only one who has the key is the janitor, because students might steal food from here, or worse start a food fight. It's a wonder why it is unlocked today. Oh, well. I wasn't going to complain, because I was exhausted. I was also getting frustrated every passing minute because I still can't find her! I needed a peaceful place to stay in.

Why can't I find her?

Why is she hiding from me?

I have tried looking for her in all of the classrooms in school, skipping nothing. She might be hiding in the desks or even in the chairs, so I tried looking there, but she was nowhere to be seen.

I made sure to look at the janitor's closet too, which I instantly regret. Instead of Alexis' angelic face, all I saw were two demons ravishing each other. Gross!

Thinking she might be hiding in the girl's restroom, I went there and tried looking at each cubicle to make sure. I even saw two girls making out at the very last cubicle. I'll tell you, in my opinion, that was so disgusting.

Because of my craziness too, I tried looking for Alexis in the guys' restroom. And I saw Brett making out with some guy. Thank goodness I got out before they saw me.

Why are there so many gay students here? They are invading our school and they are spreading their germs and viruses all over the place!

I sat down on the floor, feeling my energy drained. Just then, my stomach decided to make its current state be known and started growling audibly. However, that was not the only sound that I heard. I also heard a light click coming from the door.

Oh no!

I abruptly stood up, went to the door and started pounding on it.

"Hey! There's someone in here! Open up!" I yelled while I ferociously pounded at the metal door.

This door could only be opened through the use of a key, from the inside and outside. At times like this, it's not good. Actually, it's not good all the time especially if you're going to be locked inside.

"Hello?! I'm here! Open this door! Hey!" I yelled once more time.

"Stop it. It's no use. No one will hear you from the outside." someone said behind me.

I gasped, and turned around.

"Alexis?"
