Two weeks. Two full weeks have passed since I first moved here. I have to admit that I really enjoyed myself in those two weeks. I seemed to get along with most of the pack, well except these bitches who always send me death glares whenever they see me. Everything's fine 'till now.

So here I am, it's Saturday and I'm stuck in my room playing Call of Duty while all of the pack is out mountain climbing. I'm not complaining though. Let's just say that I got some problem with heights. Yeah you got that right, Acrophobia. Not fun.

I was interrupted from kicking JJ's ass by my phone ringing. JJ is one of my best friends back home. He's actually the closest. We've been in touch during the past two weeks. Well of course we have, didn't I just mention that we were best friends?

"Hello," I answered without bothering to see who's on the other line.

"Lana! I just came back. Would you like to meet me at the mall? Get some ice cream or something?" I heard Sandy saying excitedly.

                                                           "Yeah sure, what time?" I asked.                           

"Now!" She answered as if there was something up and I needed to hurry.

I shrugged at her weird behavior before telling her I'll be there in ten.

I went t my closet, and stood there for a while, deciding on what to wear. Dresses and skirts? Nah, not me. In the end, I decided to wear jean shorts with an off the shoulder shirt that has America's flag on it. Didn't I say I liked it simple?

I grabbed my phone and money, and headed out. God, the house is so quiet that I can hear the echo of my footsteps. I think they've meant it when they said that they'll all go. I sighed and made my way to the door.

After I went to the mall, I went to the food court and waited for Sandy to come just as she told me to do. Fifteen minutes have already passed and I was starting to feel like something is up, so I decided to call Sandy and check up on her.

"Hello, "She answered after the first ring.

"Sandy, where are you? I've been waiting for you for the past 20 minutes already," I said.

"Oh, Lana I'm so sorry, something came up and I can't come," She apologized.

Crap,"It's okay. Is everything alright?"

"Yeah, everything's fine. I just don't feel too good," She said.
