Applebloom

When I got to school I was reading one of my favorite books until Diamond Tiara ripped it out of my hands "Listen you dork. Daddy wants me to square dance at a stupid hoedown he's throwing for westerns and forgot to get me a square dancing teacher. So I thought of you since your family's already working the hoedown. Oh, and my boyfriend's going to the hoedown so you'll have to teach us." she said crossing her arms and I rolled my eyes "Walk with me after school and I'll see if my sister can help you." I said annoyed at how rude she was being "Great !" she said in a cheery voice and gave me my book back. I went to my locker when I got inside and took my textbooks out "Hey there!" a voice startled me and I dropped my textbooks. I saw a boy with purple highlights in front of me "I'm sorry I didn't mean for you to drop your books." he apologized "It's okay." I said and bend over to pick them up but head butted him without noticing he was going help me "Sorry." I apologized blushing, he just smiled and we picked up the rest of the textbooks "I'm Tender Taps." he said "Nice to meet you. I'm Applebloom." I said "Do you mind telling where I can find home ec. It's my first day here, so I don't the school very well." he asked "No problem that's my first class. Just follow me." I said zipping up my backpack and closing my locker.

When we got there I sat in the back well Mrs. Cake introduced Tender Taps. After he told the class a bit about himself he sat on the seat to my left "What did you think of my amazing speech ?" he asked "I didn't think 'Uh-uh.... TENDER TAPS!' was starting a speech" I joked "I get stage fright." he argued "Yeah your amazing speech cleared that up." I said laughing "Well I'll get over it eventually and become the greatest dancer ever." he said with pride "I hope so because if the music starts playing 'TENDER TAPS!' won't help." I said laughing "Hey I was wondering if you  could show me around town after school ?" he asked sounding a little embarrassed "I promised two friends I'd teach them how to square dance after school so I can't." I said apologetically "I know how to square dance. What if I helped you teach them ?" he asked hopefully "Sure just walk with us after school." I said "Okay." he said "Hey Applebloom." Shadownight whispered "What ?" I asked looking at him "What were you two laughing about ?" he asked "I'll tell you later." I said and went back to working on the assignment. After class I met up with Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle "Are you guys coming over later ?" I asked "Is it okay if we bring Button and Rumble along ?" Scootaloo asked looking at her phone and I nodded "Applebloom." Shadownight said walking up to us "You never told me what you two were laughing about." he asked "Just about how he introduce himself." I shrugged "Why did you wanna know ?" Scootaloo asked with a smirk "I was um..." "Jealous." Scootaloo teased "T-that's not it! I-I just wanted to know." Shadownight stuttered "Ignore her." I said rolling my eyes as the bell rang and we went to class. I waited for Diamond Tiara and Shadownight after school "Hi Applebloom!" Tender Taps said walking up to me "Oh howdy Tender Taps." I said and sat down on the bench "Want some candy ?" he asked sitting next to me "Sure why not." I said smiling "So are we waiting for our students to arrive ?" he asked tying a pretend bow tie "Yeah and some of my friends are..." "Hey loser we're here." Diamond Tiara said walking up to us "Hey Diamond Tiara and..." I pretended not to know Shadownight "This is Shadownight my boyfriend." Diamond Tiara said hugging her arm "Well since we're let's get going." I said takin Tender Taps' hand and started walking the way back to Sweet Apple Acres.

Shadownight

As we were walking to Sweet Apple Acres Tender Taps wouldn't let go of Applebloom's hand and it was starting to get annoying. Does he even need to be that close, she already has enough with Snails bugging her, she doesn't need him to start too. When we got there she invited us in so we could get some water to drink while she got the equipment from the attic in her hallway "Tender Taps minds holding me so I don't fall ?" Applebloom asked "Uh... Sure. No problem." he said and went to help her. I was going to get another drink of water from the kitchen and you could see him holding her waist, I just continued on to the kitchen and got some water then went back and sat down while grinding my teeth "Something wrong babe ?" Diamond Tiara asked "Nothing. I was just thinking about the jerk that stole my skateboard last week." I lied "Do you want me to buy you a new one babe ?" she asked snuggling up "No worries, we already called the cops. I'll let them handle it." I said kissing her forehead "Aaahh!" we heard Applebloom scream from the hallway. When we got there she was lying on top of Tender Taps "Wow you two just can't wait to dance." Diamond Tiara made fun of them, I just grit my teeth again "Let's just go outside so I can teach ya." Applebloom got up carrying the equipment outside.

They were holding hands again well we walked to where we were suppose to dance. Applebloom put the music on and her sister came out with a mic "Giddyup little love birds !" she yelled to them as she started tapping her foot and clapping.

It's not too good to be alone,
Iron sharpens iron, don't you know?

*Applebloom and Tender taps bow to each other and join hands and go back to their original positions*

You lead, I'll follow - this could all change tomorrow,
Let me slip on through your fingers,

*Tender Taps steps to the right and goes forward and Applebloom follows*

Take my hand, we're arm in arm and toe to toe,
We'll keep this all from being touch and go.

*Tender Taps spins Applebloom around twice and bow again*

Dosey the doe,
Put one foot in and one foot out,
Hokey the poke.

*They lock arms and start skipping along with the beat of the music and Applebloom and then they step to their rights and go forward before sticking one hand out*

A chord or two, or three, won't break so easy,
Promenade, shuffle, step ball change,

*They stand side by side holding their hands then shuffle right and Applebloom spins on the ball of her feet so she can face Tender Taps.*

Five, six, seven, eight, don't mean a thing if you ain't got it,
Keep that swing, let's stay together,
It's more easy than dancing, it's forever,
Let's take another spin along the floor.

Dosey the doe,

All of that was really confusing ? I thought but "I think I got it ?" were the words that came out of my mouth "Okay little doggie show us what you got." Applebloom's sister restarted the music and clapped along to the beat of the music. When we started I was doing pretty well until we had to 'dosey the doe.' I lost my footing and stepped on her toe "Ow" she said "Oh sorry." I apologize "It's okay Tender Taps and I will go through the steps slowly so you Diamond Tiara can keep up." she said and went turned off the music "Ready y'all ?" she asked and we nodded "Okay first we..." Diamond Tiara and I were doing well so far but we needed to speed up. As they were dancing Tender Taps all of a sudden fell on top of Applebloom and everything went silent.

Applebloom

It was silent for a while until Tender Taps got off of me "I'm sorry Applebloom. I slipped and- "Watch what you're doing, you idiot!" Shadownight pushed him down "Shadownight !" Diamond Tiara yelled as Tender Taps got up and pushed him back. All of a sudden they started fighting. We kept trying to break it off but they still kept fighting "Applebloom we're - What the heck !" Sweetie yelled and while Rumble and Button broke the two males on the floor apart. I looked at Diamond Tiara "I think you and your boyfriend should go." I said and she nodded dragging Shadownight along with her. After everything settled down we all had some apple cider and everyone had to leave. What got into Shadownight ? I asked myself as I fell asleep.
