NATHAN'S POV
SUNDAY
I woke up with the most painful pounding in my head. What the hell happened last night? I looked to the bedside table as a light had caught my attention. My phone displayed several messages from numerous people.
Darsee: did you get home ok?
Jay: mate where'd you get to last night?
Liam: you just disappeared!
The list went on, but most of the messages held the same context. I lifted my legs over the side of my bed and sat up. I needed to remember what happened last night and I needed to find out fast. Hopefully I didn't do anything too impulsive. Last night was the first time I had gotten properly drunk, so I had no clue how I acted while I was intoxicated.
I slowly made my way downstairs, grasping onto the handrail to support myself. I was greeted by my little sister who was buttering a slice of toast.
“Feeling alright Nath?” Jess asked with a raised eyebrow.
“What happened yesterday?” I took a seat on the bar stool, leaning my head into my hands while she handed me a glass of water.
“Well, some girl drove you home and you were basically drunk. You're lucky I answered the door, not mum or dad.” Even though Jess had told me a pretty uninformative story of last night, it still made my mind recall just about every event that took place.
The whole drive home I thought that Darsee's older sister was actually Darsee. I remember that the whole ten minute drive consisted of Billy insisting that she was not in fact Darsee, and that I was being a 'drunken idiot'.
The only thing that I can't remember clearly from that night is when I came into Lola's room. That whole scene is just a blurred memory. The only thing that I can recall is the exact moment Lola's lips met mine. It ignited me and I swear that kiss made me sober for merely a few seconds, that is until she backed away. That was when my heart shattered yet again, and everything from that moment went back to being a blur.
“Dad's taking us to the markets today, you better get ready soon.” Jess said quietly before she padded up to her room, leaving me trying to piece together the events of last night.
MONDAY
I walked into school alongside Dallas, Siva and Max (a/n: as in Max played by leigh-anne not max george lol). Despite the fact that Siva and Max have already been on a couple dates during the summer holidays, they are still not in an official relationship. It annoys me how he can't just man-up and tell her how he feels. Seeing them together just makes me wish that Lola would go back to being the Lola she was a month ago so that we could be together, like how I want, and how I know she wants us to be. I know that's just selfish, but I can't help it.
Jay keeps telling me to give her space, emotionally, and I know he's right. My only job right now is to protect her from Jake, not to give her more problems to deal with. A big part of me wants to see Jake's face again. So I can tell him everything that's been playing on my mind. Before I beat him like a pulp, just like how he did to me, I will tell him how much of a pig he is. I want to know how he could possible hurt the most beautiful, most innocent girl in the world. I want to know how he could have something so precious, and just spit on it. I will tell him that he deserves to rot in hell after all he has done. I want him to suffer for all the wrong his done.
