Chapter 30

We walked back to our room after having a little conversation with our dad and giving him hugs "so next time you miss mum,find the shiniest star in the sky,okay?" I told him as he laid down in bed "okay" he said smiling happily "if you pray you'll be able to get god to talk to her for you,you can leave messages for mum" I said sitting down on the edge of his bed "really?" "Yes tomorrow morning try it out,you might even get a little answer by either hearing it or seeing it in the clouds" i said getting up and turning his light off "okay" "good night" I said holding the door "goodnight sis" Aiden said as he gave me a hug then he went straight to sleep.

As i walked to my room i heard my bed sheets moving "hello?" I whispered as i walked into my room "who's in here?" I said walking closer then i pulled my blankets back "Michael? What the hell! Why'd you try and scare me like that!!" "Sorry, I just needed to see you" he said cupping my face and looking at me in the most concerned look you could ever give someone "its okay" I said trying to keep the smile on my face "your stressed,here lay with me" he said laying down and lifting the blankets to let me in bed.

As i got into bed he still had that look on his face "why the concerned look?" I asked a bit worried "your texts" "what about em?" "I could tell you weren't okay" I took my bracelet off an put it on my night stand "I'm fine Michael" he shook his head "your clearly not" "why do you think that?" "Because our beautiful connection shows me when your upset and when your happy,right now I'm getting the upset vibe from you" I sighed 'guess its time to tell him'

I looked at him "I think we should talk about this in the morning" "i cant be here in the morning" "why not?" "Meeting remember?" "Yeah i know but thats at 12! You can be here in the morning,i do still have some of your clothes you know?" "Have you cleaned them?" "Of course!!" "So my scents gone off them?" "Yes except one" "which is?" I giggled and pointed to the pillow he had his head on "this pillow has your scent,look underneath" I said smiling as i saw him look underneath the pillow "my shirt! The one i ever wore here with you" "on that one special night" "yeah" we both smiled "lets get to sleep" he said wrapping his arms around me and pulling me closer by my waist "sleep well baby girl" he whispered to me,that night i finally had a good night sleep.

"Wakey Wakey" Michael said giving me a kiss on the cheek "no" I said tiredly "c'mon please wake up" he said giving me another kiss "hmm fine" I said again tiredly as i opened my eyes "thank you" I smiled "i gotta go check on mu-" I stopped mid sentence remembering that she was gone "is something wrong?" I got out of bed "I'm fine" "okay" I grabbed myself some new clothes and got into the bathroom,I locked the door and started my shower.

After my shower which was filled with crying i got changed into my new clothes and went back into my room "hey sis" i heard Aiden say "hey,how are you this morning?" "Hmm good,i guess" "I'm struggling too but have you seen Michael?" "He left he had a meeting" "okay" I said sitting on my bed "hows dad this morning?" "You should go see for yourself" "okay" I quietly walked around the house trying to find him.

I found him in the kitchen with a few beer bottles around him "dad?" "What do you want?" "Its me your daughter,don't you think you've had enough to drink?" I said grabbing the empty beer bottles and counting them,his already drank 10 "no! Theres no such thing as to much to dink you little butch" I started grabbing the rest of the beer bottles to keep them away from him.

"Hey! Dont you frucken dare take those *hic* away from me!!" He said pushing me up against the wall "drop *hic* em!" I dropped them "cant you see I'm trying to help you!" "I dont give a *hic* fruck you little immature slut!" *hic* I ran away from him and went straight to my room.

"Pack your things,we're staying with Michael for a while" "okay" "be quick!" I said as he ran to his room an started packing, I kept packing as well till my phone rang:
S: hello?
M: hey shelly,i went to the meeting too early and we just finished it
S: great,be here in ten minutes
M: wait what?
S: please?
M: want to tell me why?
S: I'll tell you on the way
M: okay
S: see you in ten
M: yep bye,love you
S: bye,love you too
I hung up and finished my packing.

Ten minutes later we heard a car honk at the front "you ready bro?" "Yep!" Aiden came to my side and held my hand "lets go" we started walking out the door "hey! Where do you *hic* think your *hic* going?" "Somewhere where me and Aiden will be safe! Away from you!" I said as we ran to Michaels car.

"Ready?" Michael said as we got in the car and put our suitcases in the back seat of the car where Aiden wasnt sitting "yes,lets go!" I said as Michael started the car and pulled away.

"Now whats going on? Why are you two coming to stay with me?" "Our mother died yesterday and my dad started drinking alcohol and well,his very dangerous to me and my brother,i want is to be safe with you"
