I nodded my head and left the tree house.

I walked inside the house to see my mother standing and looking at me with a soft smile 'what the hell?' I thought to myself "are you dating Michael Jackson?" "no we're just friends,why?" "Because your bunny is really special to you isn't it?" My mother said holding my bunny "and if i were to rip it,you would cry wouldn't you?" She said with her hands on its ears moving her hands further apart "please don't rip it" "why not? Its only from Michael Jackson" I shut my eyes trying to be strong "because Michael is my idol and everything that he gives me is special knowing that i could never have a chance for him to buy that or win that ever again or even see him ever again" I opened my eyes and looked at her in the eye "don't you feel that way with dad? Whatever he bought for you,you would hate for it to be ruined or ripped,right? Like your marriage ring,you would hate if that got chipped or broken in half" I said holding her hand and looking at the ring "yes i would but this is a whole different situation" she said yanking her hand away from my hand.

I looked down "How is it a different situation?" "Because you could be going against the law" "what does it matter about the law when your in love...it doesn't matter what age you are it just matters whats in your heart that you feel,right?" I said looking up knowing that my mother told me that when i was little "how do you still remember that?" "I just do,i always have" her hands moved inwards and she stopped her anger "I-I haven't told you something Shell" she said sitting down at the table with my bunny in front of her on the table "what do you mean?" I said sitting down with her.

"Me and your father were illegally dating too,he was actually my next door neighbour and umm when we first met i was in love with him,when we were in the library reading books i asked him his age and when he told me that he was 20 i was shocked because at that time i was only in year 10 and this man had already finished high school but we went against the law and proceeded with our love,then a few years after that we got married and had you guys" I smiled as my mother handed back my bunny "so are you and Michael dating?" I felt someone touch my shoulder and I looked back to see Michael giving me a soft slow nod.

As I turned back to my parents i held Michaels hands and nodded my hand "yes,we are dating" my mother smiled softly and i saw her eyes tearing up "why are you crying?" I asked my mother as i hugged her "Please tell me those are happy tears" i heard Michael say as I felt my own mothers arms wrap around me "happy tears Shelly,happy tears" i heard my mother say as she kissed my forehead.

We unlocked the hug and smiled at each other "you guys remind me of when we confessed to our parents about our love,scared and worried was your fathers expression an mine was upset and scared just like yours shelly but Michael,your expression was calm and happy" "I knew that Shelly would be alright and that you would be alright with it miss Rose as i knew about your past" "smart boy" I looked at Michael and saw him blushing.

"How long have you guys been going out for?" I went to my room and grabbed the necklace,the bracelet and the ring then went back to them and gave my mother the necklace,the bracelet and the ring "oh I've heard about that before!" She said looking at the ring "future wife ring right?" Michael nodded and i held his hand as he was sitting next to me "so you've decided that you trust Shell with your life?" "Yes i do" "you wish to spend the rest of your life with her?" "Yes ma'am i do" "have you given him a ring yet Shelly?" "no not yet" "good,you two stay here,I'll be right back" as she walked away,me and Michael smiled at each other.

"It was a good idea telling her huh?" I held his hand "well it was either that or let her rip your prize and my memories" he cupped my face and gently kissed me on the lips then we heard someone lean against the kitchen door "hey Shelly belly" my father said smiling as he came over and sat next to me "I heard about you and Michael" I looked down "and I thought you knew better than this,you too Michael!" I shut my eyes trying to stop myself from crying and trying to calm myself "I never wanted what me and your mother had done to happen to you or Aiden!" I felt Michael rub my back to try and calm me but it just made me want to cry even more,instead I walked away and went to my room,i shut the door and sat on my bed crying.

Michael's POV
I lightly knocked on her door "may i come in?" She opened the door and straight away she hugged me crying her eyes out and i hugged her back while pulling us into her room and closing her door "shh shh its okay,look what i brought" I said making a space between us to hold up the bunny "bunny" she said trying to smile as i gave it to her and gave her a long loving amazing kiss.

While we were sitting on her bed hugging I saw her finally calming down "Shelly?" I said making sure she was alright
