Erens P.O.V

I walk into mine and Levi's office, he's just sitting there staring into space, he's been doing this a lot lately.

"Levi" I walk further into our office and sit on the desk crosslegged in front of him, making sure to be quiet and calm, he may lash out.

"The note's here" I wave it in his face slowly

He snaps out of it and looks at me. I wish i could hear what he's thinking right now, but since we learnt how to stop some brainwaves from getting to the other, he only share's what he deems important. So basically, not this

"...Sure, Eren"

"You ok?"

"Yeah... Just show me the note"

I hand it to him. He examines it.

"Levi, turn it around. Whats that on the back"

He turns it around. "But theres nothing ther-"

"Wait..." He grabs an ultra violet torch and swipes it across the back of the paper.

"Invisible ink"

"What could the possibly need to use invisible ink for"

"I dont know, but, theres a name or something on the back. Says..."

He squints his eyes at the page. "Signed, Colossal?"

"That name sounds familiar, What about you?"

"Yeah..."

I peek at the front of the page that is facing me.

"So, why are they telling us when and where the next murder is going to be?"

He turns it round and puts it down, flat on his desk.

"No idea. It seems a bit strange to me. What could he or she possibly have to gain from giving us this information"

"Hmm..."

"So the next murder is going to be in just under two months from now. So what do we do in the mean time?"

Levi rolls his eyes "I guess we plan how were going to catch 'em"

"Didn't think of that" I laugh

"You wanna go grab coffee?"

He smiles that oh, so rare, small smile

"Make it tea" He says standing up and walking out the the room

{ Should have known } I think to him, smiling as I followed after him.

Around 10 minutes later at the coffee shop

We went to a nearby coffee shop. Apparently the canteen at the station is under refurbishments, with meant i'd have to deal with a tea suppressed Levi for a while.

Nevermind.

"Eren. Hey, Eren" He waved a hand in my face, literally slapping me, I barley twitched. Until I heard that familial "Tch" sound that indicated that Levi was fed up, annoyed and was possibly going to leave me here alone, making me pay for my own drink for once.

"Wait- Levi, don't leave me here"

"Tch" He didn't even spare glance.

"Levi~" I wine giving him my best puppy dog face. It's only worked a few times, but wheres the harm in trying, huh?

He stared at me for a full on 5 minutes, i was sure after all that time he was gonna say no, but-

"Fine. What do you want" He looked back to the bored with the list of drinks

I must admit I'm pleased with myself

"Hot chocolate!"

"Go sit down"

"Okay" I frown but walk to the seat near the window

{ Why so grouchy? }

{ Levi }

{ LEVI! }

{ You ignoring me wont do anything }

{ Your an insufferable brat, i'm trying to pay for 'your' drink }

{Aren't you getting one? }

{ Yes }

{ So it's not just my drink your paying for~ }

He didn't reply to that.

Around 2 minutes later he came back with the drinks and a cookie. He gave it to me...

"Levi, don't you want it?"

"No, it's yours"

"Thank you" I give him a grateful smile and tuck in

...

"Why did you get me a cookie?"

"I could tell you were in one of those moods where you wont shut up. So I got the cookie, and look, it worked, you were silent for a full minute" Levi says sarcastically

"Mhm" I say muffled because a part of the cookie in my mouth

...

"Levi"

"What?"

"...You didn't get marshmallows"

He glares at me

"Levi stop, its scary" I exclaim hiding from his stare

"Tch, you're the one drawing attention"

"Shutup"

"You gonna make me?"

"That a challenge I hear"

"Might be"

I giggle and Levi chuckles.

"When are you gonna laugh properly"

"When someone does something worth laughing about"

"Thats deep"

"No, it's not, Eren"

"Is"

Levi looks at me, sighs then says "I'm not in the mood to argue with you today"

"Well that's my day ruined. Come on lets go"

"Okay" the midges says standing up and walking away with me in tow
