                    (Mild/strong language)
After you left the hospital you went home. It was Sunday, so that meant you had to get at least one of your chores done or your room mates would yell at you. You were planning on only taking out the trash, since it was the easiest to do.
When you arrived something felt....off. You didn't exactly know how to explain it. It was, as if someone took something from you and you were mourning its loss. You pulled the keys out of the ignition and hopped out of Ella's car. Making your way to the door you noticed the plants out side had been pushed down or stepped on.
"That's strange..." you thought.
"Why would the flowers be crushed like this? I just planted them a week or two ago."
You grabbed the door knob and twisted it slowly. Testing it before putting the keys in the lock. But as apposed to it being locked, it looked like something had picked at it and somehow unlocked it.
A sudden feeling of dread swept over you as you pushed open the unlocked door. You pulled out your phone, ready to call the police at the slightest of movements. When examining the living room everything looked normal except for a picture frame that was shattered on the floor. It was a picture of you and your room mates. It looked like there was a struggle as the glass had been spread out and crushed into even smaller pieces.
You walked cautiously over to the mess of glass. Looking to your right you noticed that the frame was pushed into the wall because there were scratch marks left in its original position.
"What happened here? I was only gone for 40 or so minutes." You say as you slowly start towards the kitchen. You tiptoed into the kitchen, heading straight for the drawer that held all the kitchen utensils. As you reached the drawer and opened it you grabbed a basic cutting knife. You turned around and began to yell out for your friends.
"Hey Ella, Molly? Are you home?"
    ....there was no reply....
You decided to try calling them before you investigated the rest of the house. You called Ella first, but to your surprise you heard her ringtone go off. It came from upstairs. This is good right? She must be here, since she never goes anywhere without her phone. Wrong, no one ever picked up the phone. You were starting to get really freaked out so you then called Molly's phone. To your relief you didn't hear her ringtone go off. And unlike Ella's phone someone answered on the other end.
"H-hello?..." a quiet voice whispered to the phone.
"Molly where are you and Ella at? I think someone broke into the house."
"No (y/n) get out of there now! HES STILL IN THE HOUSE-" the phone cut out and the call failed. You tried to call back but your service wasn't strong enough to support a simple call for some reason.
"What the hell what happened to my service?" You say out loud. You didn't think any of this was real. You heard rustling up stairs, so you thought it was Ella trying to scare you. As you walked up the stairs you could tell where the noises were coming from, they came from your room.
With knife in hand you reached your door, it was wide open. You peaked into the dark room but you could see a figure standing by your closet.
"Nice try Ella I know that's you." You say with confidence. "Why are you trying to scare me?"
"Sorry to scare you I just need something from you." A mans voice replied.
Your heart sank and your smile melted off your face into a look of horror. Molly wasn't kidding, someone was actually in the house.
"I'm pretty dangerous if you didn't already know, heh just last night i had a talk with my good old friend Tom. Don't worry though he's in the hospital now, because of you. When I'm done with you though you won't feel anything." He said as he turned to her turned to her with a smile.

" He said as he turned to her turned to her with a smile
