Your working the morning shift at " Stacy's music store ", it's 7a.m when a man in a blue hoodie walks in.
You said the usual "hello, how can I help you?"

Honestly you never liked saying that but it was mandatory for you to do so. You thought this man would be like any other guy that walks in, but you were wrong. This man strangely had black eyes or so you thought, but as he approached you could see that he had none at all!
Taken back by this you made a shocked face but quickly realized the man had noticed your judgmental expression. He didn't seem too fond of this and so he lowered his head. Then proceeded to ask to see the bass strings. You pointed him towards the corner that held the bass guitars and other accessories that went with it.
He grabbed a pack of simple metal strings, then walked back to the counter. He placed them in front of you so you did the usual and scanned it. But it didn't scan at first.
O no, you thought as you figured you had to start a conversation with this guy who you were rude to by just staring.
"Sorry this might take a while, the tech here isn't really up to date,
"It's fine..." He replied, obviously wanting to leave.
"Well how's your day been?" You say, still trying to scan the pack of strings.
"Ok I guess, not the best but I manage."
It seemed every time you spoke the atmosphere got more and more awkward until the scanner finally picked up the barcode of the strings.
    "That'l be 19.85."
He hands you a twenty and you hand him the pack of strings.
    "Here's your change sir-"
"Keep it..." He says as he walks out the door.

Your pretty confused that someone wouldn't want their change back

Your pretty confused that someone wouldn't want their change back. But you shook it off as him just being in a hurry.
The rest of the day went pretty slow, hardly anyone came in besides that man and a couple needing directions to the subway. This is how everyday practically went, one or two people come in and that's it. Your surprised that this place still stays in business.
                    (Time skip 5 hours later)
Your shift finally ended so you grabbed you stuff and headed home. It was sunny out, not too hot and not too bright. It was just perfect except for the fact that you felt eyes on you. When you got closer to your home the feeling worsened and you began to feel ill due to the fact that you have bad anxiety. You reached your door to your house and wrenched it open then slammed it behind you.
"WHO GOES THERE?!" A ginger screamed as she peered around the corner.
    "It's just me (y/n)."
"Omg, (y/n) you scared me I thought you were an intruder."
"Yea sorry I slammed the door it just felt like someone was watching me so I ran inside as fast as I could."
"You better not have broke the door." A brunette appeared from the kitchen with a can of  coke in her hand.
You hoped you didn't because if you did it would cost at least 50 dollars to buy new hinges and an additional 60 for someone to fix it for you since your too lazy to do it yourself.
    You examined the door carefully.
    "Looks fine to me."
"Alright then." The brunette says before taking a sip of her coke.
"So anything interesting happen at work?" The ginger asked.
"Meh not really besides this one guy who came in early like at 7, he had a blue hoodie on and he had no eyes."
"Really?" They both say in sequence.
"Yea but it kinda got awkward because I stared at him like an idiot, then had to talk to him."
"Sounds rough man" the brunette leans on the wall and continues to drink her can of coke all the way to the bottom.
"Yea well you wanna watch a movie to take your mind off it?" The ginger suggests as she sits down on the couch urging both of you to sit with her.
"Sure...can it be scary tho?" You say as a smirk stretches across your face."
"YESS LETS WATCH THE CONJURING!!!!" The brunette screamed as she ran out of the kitchen and into the living room.
    "Let's do it!"
"Ugg fine, if I'm up all night then it's your guys fault." The ginger teased.
You started up the movie and grabbed some popcorn for you and your friends to share.
Half way in the movie. Molly your ginger friend is silently sobbing and hugging a pillow out of fear. While you and Ella the brunette are contently watching the screen as a ghost jumps at the camera. Ella screams as you laugh at her.
    "Ha that one got me."
"All of them have gotten me *sniff*" The ginger lifts her head only to say one sentence then shoved her face back into her knees.
     "You guys are hilarious."
                              (Time skip)
You all finished the movie and were going to bed. Molly was red eyed from the tears she shed throughout the movie while you and Ella were just plain tired.
It was 10:00, thank god it was Friday so you didn't have to work tomorrow.
You were getting into bed when the door bell rang.
Ding....ding..ding...
"Who the hell could that be?"you thought out loud.
"I don't know you should go see who it is."
"Grab the bat just in case."
Ella nods and opens a small closet, pulling out a base ball bat. She follows close behind you. When you reached the door you peaked out the window, by lifting the blinds just enough so you could see who it was.
It was the blue hoodie guy from earlier!
"Omg it's that guy I told you about this morning, y'know that guy with no eyes."
"What would he want?"
"Idk..."
You unlocked the door and opened it. But...that feeling...that feeling of being watched came back even stronger than before...
Another feeling flooded your senses. It was a feeling of incredible sadness or dread you couldn't tell at the moment.
"Umm hello...do you need something?" You say hesitantly.
"Y-yes *cough, cough* I need some bandages."
You didn't realize it at first but the man was holding his arm around his stomach. It was strange though a red fluid had covered that part of his hoodie, then the thought hit you.
"Is that blood?" You thought.
"Are you ok sir?" Ella asked.
"No..please I-I need to-"
He began to fall mid sentence. You grabbed him before he could hit the ground.
"Ella get the med kit!"
Ella ran into the bathroom frantically searching for the kit, while you looked at the area where the red liquid had covered his hoodie.
You lifted up his hoodie to see...a stab wound?
"What happened?"
"Heh a-an old friend came to visit and, well let's just say things turned to shit." He tried to force a smile but the pain must have been too much for him.
    "What's you name?"
"T-Thomas..Ridgewell."
"My names (y/n)" you say hoping he'll be more comfortable, knowing your name.
"I know who you are, you were the cashier at Stacy's."
You blushed a bit, you've never had a customer who cared enough to learn your name. He noticed this and smiled for real this time.
"I got the kit!(y/n)!" Ella screamed out.
She practically threw the case at you, being in such a hurry. You put force on the wound trying to stop the bleeding while you had Ella take out the bandages.
She wrapped them around his wound as carefully as she could.
"We need to take him to the hospital Ella."
"Ok I got the keys, will you be ok with him."
"Yea I'll be ok." You lifted him off the ground and wrapped his arm around your shoulder so you could support him better.
"Hurry he might come back." Tom says shakily.
"What do you mean who will come back?"
"Tord....he was the one who did this."
"What does this guy look like?" You asked hesitantly.
"He wears a red hoody and has spiky dirty blond hair."
You thought as you carried Tom to Ella's car. Where have you heard that name before? A poster or news article? Maybe both.
On the way there Tom started to drift off. Every time he blinked, it seemed he would keep them closed longer each time. Until they didn't open back up.
"Tom? Tom! Hey stay with me ok? We're almost there!" You tried to shake him a bit to wake him up. It worked he opened his eyes slightly. You had to keep talking to him to keep him awake.
"Ella hurry I think we're starting to loose him!"
"I'm going 10 miles over the speed limit already!"
"I don't care! Just go!...I don't want him to die."
You could feel tears forming in you eyes as you watched Tom slip away. It was heart aching to see someone's life dim dimmer and dimmer each minute.
You reached the hospital within a matter of minutes. Grabbing Tom you quickly made your way to the emergency part of the building.
Your basically dragging Tom with you as you ran up to the front desk.
"Please help this man, he just got stabbed in the stomach."
The woman at the counter picks up the phone and calls for a stretcher, then explains the details of the emergency to the person on the other end. Soon a group of doctors and nurses came through two big doors with a stretcher in hand. They grabbed Tom from you but before he left your side he said "thank you (y/n)."
Time passed as you sat in the waiting room but Ella was getting reckless. She hated being kept up because of something she didn't care about.
"(Y/n) lets go okay? He won't be out until like tomorrow, we can visit him then." Ella said, clearly agitated.
"....Ella just wait a little longer please?"
"NO! I've been here for 3 hours and haven't gotten any sleep!"
"*sigh* Fine! Let's go since your in such a hurry to sleep."
    "Finally..."
The drive back home wasn't very fun. Ella didn't talk at all and you tried to make conversation but it didn't work. So you sat in silence until you got close to home. You felt uneasy leavening Tom alone at the hospital, but Ella had to be a little brat and force you to leave.
"O well." You thought. He's an adult he can take care of himself. Besides if he's still there tomorrow you could bring him something to feel better, like a teddy bear.
You got home, you and Ella both went upstairs immediately and passed out. You fell asleep quickly, but it didn't last for many hours as you had hoped. You woke up at 7am, and couldn't fall back asleep so you got ready for the day. You ate breakfast and got dressed. There was only one thing on your mind though. You couldn't get his name out of your head.
    "Tom...Tom....Tom..."
It echoed in your mind all night, perhaps that's what caused you to get no sleep. Or maybe it was something else...
Like you said yesterday you wanted to go back and see him, maybe get him a stuffed animal. You grabbed Ella's keys and walked out the door, you opened up her car and sat inside. Turning on the engine with the twist of her key. You drove off to the hospital.
When you got there the place seemed quiet. You walked up to the same desk as last night and asked about a Tomas Ridgewell.
"He's in room 224B on the second floor." The woman said.
     "Thank you."
You fast walked your way into the open part of the hospital, it had 4 floors that you could see from the center of the building. Your main concern was to find the gift shop.
It took about 15 min to find it. Once inside you went straight to the stuffed animals. You looked for something that he wouldn't just throw away the moment he received it. There were lots of stuffed cats and dogs but your interests were in a brown teddy bear.
Eventually you found one little bear in the back of the store, it was wedged in between two boxes that were filled with colored animals. You bought it then started to make your way up the stairs to his room. 224B on the second floor, you said to yourself.
You reached the door and knocked.
"Come in.." a quiet voice said from the other side.
You poked you head through the door.
"Hi, it's just me (Y/n)."
"What are you doing here?" He said with curiosity.
"I just wanted to see if you were ok. Plus I got you something for letting me have your change."
"Well I'm alive. You didn't have to I didn't need that change anyway." He said with a smile.
You handed him a little fluffy teddy bear it had a small piece of paper taped to the back of it, you had written a message on it and put your number on the backside of the paper. You started out the door saying, "Well I have to get back home, see you around."
"Goodbye..."

EDIT:(Ok so I fixed a vocabulary mistake and changed the ending a bit it just seemed a little pushy so I toned it back a bit/ a second part may be coming soon or a monster Tom au just to get into the spirit of Halloween and fall in general
