I had to re-publish this because it was glitching out for some people.

Okay, I need Sebemis and while this isn't exactly lovey-dovey, I had this idea to write for a while and some comments reminded me of it when I asked for Sebemis bonus chapters. I'll post another after this either tomorrow or Friday when they're actually dating.

And I know I said I would do the interview like two months ago, but I forgot about it, so I'll try over the weekend. cx

Bonus Chapter 3: She's Back

~Seb: Age 17~ (Aww, he's so young now.)

I pulled my motorcycle into the parking lot of the school, parking in my normal booth. I turned it off and Dax got off, taking his helmet off with shaky hands.

I took my helmet off as well and stored both of them on my motorcycle. "Dax, you'll be fine today, okay?" I said. "Nothing bad is going to happen."

"You don't know that," he said in a quiet voice. "They're really bad."

I sighed. Dad wouldn't let Dax stay home today, even though the voices for Dax were really bad today. He was up all night because of it and even though Dad could easily tell Dax was exhausted, he forced Dax to come to school.

"Put your earphones in," I said. "I'll take you to the nurse's office where you could just nap there."

"Okay," he said, taking out his phone and plugging his earphones in. Once they were in his ears, I led him to the nurse's office where she let him stay. I was grateful they were really understanding with Dax's situation.

I decided to head to my locker, even though I would rather not go to class on time. I hated school. It was pointless.

Suddenly, someone bumped into me and immediately apologized. I looked down, glaring at the girl who wasn't watching where she was going. I couldn't help but wonder why she looked so familiar. Something about those bright, brown eyes.

I snapped out of my trance. "What where you're going," I snapped.

She furrowed his eyebrows. "Didn't you hear me?" she asked. "I said sorry."

Everyone always said sorry. Sorry was a useless word that didn't mean anything. It never did.

"Sorry doesn't fix anything," I told her.

"Clearly," she said. "You shouldn't have been walking too close to the lockers anyway. It's your fault as much as mine."

"Really?" I asked, placing my hands in the pocket of my jeans. "I'm guessing you're new here. People don't talk to me that way."

"Why?" she asked. "Are the too afraid to stand up to you because of your whole....look? I don't care if I'm not supposed to talk to you in a certain way. We bumped into each other, I said sorry, so move on."

She definitely was a new girl. Most people avoided me, and I didn't blame them. I hated everyone anyway. The only person I had in my life was Dax, but he had so much on his plate and I didn't want to trouble him with any of my problems.

I had someone else, but she just had to leave me, like anyone else. She didn't even tell me and I was glad I never had to see her again.

I crossed my arms over my chest. "Look. I am not in a good mood today, so I would appreciate it if you go back to where you came from."

"Technically, I am from here since I was born here," she said. "And if you're not in a good mood, you can't expect me to back up my backs and leave." One can dream.

"I'm serious," I said. "Don't make me angry. Things get ugly."

"You know what?" she said. "I'll do us both the favor and walk away. I thought I would have a nice first day after moving back here." Aww, someone thought things could actually be nice in life. That was the complete opposite.

"Yeah? Well, guess what. Life is full of disappointment."

"What?" she asked, her voice softening.

"Life is full of disappointment," I repeated. "So get used to it."

Her face softened, but I still glared at her. I didn't care who she was. I didn't want anyone making my mood even worse.

       "Seb?" she asked.

I furrowed my eyebrows. Seb? How did she know my name? More importantly, why did she say Seb and not Sebastian? Nobody ever called me by Seb except for Dax. Well, and....

       Artemis.

The new girl was Artemis Novak, my ex-best friend who left me without even telling me. The girl I liked so much before she left. She was the only one who made me feel better whenever my dad hurt me, even though she didn't know what was going on.

None of that mattered. What mattered was that she left me without a single word. I had to continue going through so much pain and I couldn't turn to anyone.

"What happened to you?" she asked.

I felt like scoffing. "You want to know? My best friend left me without so much of a warning. I found out the next day at school that you moved across state. So if anyone is to blame for my attitude, it's you, Artemis."

I walked passed her, not wanting to look at her again. I couldn't look at her again. I never thought I would have to see her again.

Unfortunately, she wasn't the only thing that returned.

I knew my feelings for her did as well.

Aww, this really makes me miss teen Sebemis, and fifteen year old Dax. I mean, Dax is still the same person in his books, but at the same time, he's different. He is going through a lot more and he isn't as sassy as he was in the first Smythe book.

I might have to might more bonus chapters with him being 15. cx
