Before I could stop myself I grabbed the mirror by my nightstand and smashed it on the floor.

I picked up a piece of glass.

I held it against my wrist.

Before I dragged it across, a tear dropped and landed on the blade.

The blade sliced through the tear like it was nothing.

Like it was worthless.

Unwanted.

Nothing.

Powerful, but fragile.

As I was about to glide the blade across my wrist, the door bust opened and I seen my mom...

"JACOB HONEY!" She screamed as she ran over to me.

It was to late...

I had slid the shattered piece across my wrist by then.

Blood.

Blood dripped from my wrist...

"STOP JACOB PLEASE!"

"NO! PLEASE MOMMY! I JUST WANNA DIE!"

"JACOB HONEY PLEASE STOP"

Tears now streaming down her face as she tried to get the piece of glass out of my hand.

"NO MOM ! I CANT DO IT ANYMORE! I JUST WANNA DIE PLEASE MOM PLEASE!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

She got the blade and threw it somewhere away from me.

"NO! WHAT DID YOU DO!?! AHH! I HATE YOU ! PLEASE WHY CANT I JUST KILL MY SELF!" I screamed.

She hugged me tighter and tighter as we rocked back on the forth on my bedroom floor.

She ran her fingers through my hair and rubbed my back.

"Shhh. Baby it's gonna be okay." My mom whispered into my ear.

"No it won't!"

"Honey yes it will." She said tears now streaming like rivers down her cheeks.

"Why me!"

Why! I love her!
