I sit here, at my laptop

Everything running through my head

As I listen to my music.

My mind flashes to this time last year.

My mind flashes to a month from now, last year.

I can't stop the thinking.

Are we growing distant?

Do you want space?

Have I done something wrong?

I don't completely believe what you told me.

I feel like you don't want me

I feel like you don't love me

I gave you myself, but I don't know if you love me

I waited for a reply.

Some sort of talk

I know you read my message

It says you did...

But you didn't reply

You just left me on read

Should I be upset?

Should I be worried?

Not for you, but for me

Are you going to break my heart again?

I don't like these thoughts

They make me cry

They make me sad

But I can't help them

All I can do is try

Try not to cry

Try not to think the bad things

Try not to give in

I can try to be happy

Try to see the world from your perspective

But that's all I can do
