Darkness. That is all I could see. Was I awake or asleep? I could not completely tell from my limited senses.
I felt someone lay my body on a flat, cold, metal surface. It was firm, a table perhaps. I heard the sound of a buckle, and felt a tight restriction on my wrist, ankles, and torso. I believe that the surface I am on is a lab table. Quickly I began thrashing, and kicking, and screaming. They stabbed me with, what felt like, some form of needle. Suddenly, my world went black.
Opening my eyes I saw dead scientists and blood, lots of blood. Organs were strewn haphazardly over the floor. Each and every doctor had the face of a different monster. A mask from the appearance, of silicon or plastic. Looking to the left I found a message. Before I could read the message, my eyes closed against my will.
Once again I opened my eyes, only to see blood, gore and the bodies of the policemen. In the corner James was rocking back and forth, like a scared child. He turned to me and, with a look of sever fear and disgust at the sight around us, motioned me to his side. He cried and said incoherent things while pointing to his plate. I looked to the plate to be greeted with the sight of Adeline's eye. I cried and screamed once again.
I walked to the door and yanked, and pulled, only to find the door locked. James panicked and started muttering things about how we were going to die. I was screaming, crying, and begging to get out of that prison.
