Sauli's POV
I quickly walk out of my dorm room and head to the elevator to head to the upper level for our mission. I see Agent Iraheta with Carpenter as they talk among themselves. I see Adam talking with Ashley and Neil. Our eyes lock, but Adam sends a sad look before returning to his conversation. I sigh and lower my bag onto the floor, waiting for the elevator to arrive with Chief and Lieutenant Pittman.
"What happen between you two?" Allison asks.
"We had an argument," I answer.
"About what?" She asks. I sigh, pulling out my partner's badge, "Sutan."
"What did you say?" Isaac asks.
"That he was there when Adam wasn't," I respond.
"Sauli," Allison gasps.
"I know what I said was wrong but I was angry. I wish I can take it back."
"You need to patch things up with him or this will be his grudge," Isaac mentions.
"I know, I just need him alone."
"When we land we'll have you and Adam stay in the same room, okay?"
"Thank you, Iraheta," I send a smile.
"And about my tone towards Lambert. I just didn't want you to get hurt again is all, Sauli. I love you like a brother, you know? I don't ever want to lose you."
"Thanks," I hug her.
"Dad!" I hear Leo call. He runs up to Adam with his younger sister behind him, "You're leaving us? Again?"
"Guys, it's just for a day or two, we need information to take Bell down and put him to jail. This is my job."
"But you promise you'll come back, right?" Roxanne signs.
"Of course, I will," Adam kneels down, in front of his children, "I always come back don't I?"
Roxanne nods, she raises her hand, her pinky, thumb and index up. Adam does the same, placing his hand against his daughter's. The elevator arrives and Chief Pittman is waiting, "Agents?"
"Bye, sweetie," Adam kisses Roxanne's forehead and picks up his bag, "Take care of her, please. She needs you more than ever."
"I will dad, I promise," Leo nods his head.
We all head into the elevator, Adam stands by me, waving at his kids. They wave back and smile. The elevator door closes and moves up to the upper level for transportation. We stayed silent on the way up. Adam kept his silence as I kept mine. I needed to patch things up with Lambert. He could do something out of his behavior because of the argument. But how?
*7 Hours Later*
"What do we got, guys?" I ask.
"Bell is found in LA at a party. The man hosting it is the same man that bailed Bell out," Allison types away at the small computer. The screen in mine and Adam's hotel room shows all the technology codes and CIA database. She pulls up a photo of a Puerto Rican man and woman.
