Age Of Caring

Didn't you hear about the children dying
What a tragedy
The new lives of a generation
Lost in hate and defeat

(Adults died too)

So many innocent babies
Slaughtered at a cost
The weak tender bones
Crushed, burned, and lost

(Parents were also killed)

The poor little hands
And tiny little feet
The sweet mini hearts
Are what the the enemy will eat

Enough!
Adults were killed
Soldiers were murdered
And yes children died too
But the kids didn't fight the war
Yes they died
And that's a tragedy
But we can't forget about the adults
Who are just children at a different stage
We need to love all humans
And not just the young ones
We need to care for everyone
No matter what age
